Hi,

Not once has a PayPal code worked for me. Even one that they'd sent was dishonoured by them. Don't like PayPal or their ethics that much but seems that there are few other options to pay for eBay purchases that offer protection of some sort or another against non-receipt and so on.

Best Regards.

I've used paypal codes at least twice before and they have
worked for me.

Small savings of <£3.50 but still, every penny helps.
#9
Sorry, but it didn't work for me either - ever mind it's worth a try

I dont understand how people rate this thread 29 degrees hot when it doesent work! Surely it should be expired!

The vast majority of Ebay/Paypal codes are tied to accounts. They only work if you have received the e-mail with the code in and your account has therefore been authorised to use it.

Same here, I understand they are tied to your account so the codes you find online like this one generally don't work...but twice they have actually sent me (via snailmail) discount codes that still didn't bloody work!

That site is more helpful than paypals own help pages.

It seems to me that these get sent to you when you havent been to ebay etc for a while, much like the tesco clubcard kind of approach can get some better discounts etc from cycling accounts every now and again? Might be worth a try at least :)

Now expired as suggested by riker71 and no one seems to have succeeded in getting it to work...
