It's coming up expired for me
#5
Sorry, meant to say just the free delivery code had expired.
#6
good deal

Thats a hot code :)
#8
How much is delivery?
#9
nice one.
though I find our sainsburys quite expensive for some items, this is worth a go.
#10
Agree Sainsburys is more expensive on their products and on delivery. Tesco has many £1 delivery slots now.

Watch out for the compulsory 40p single-use plastic bags in Wales - which may also apply elsewhere. Its even more annoying because they don't actually supply sufficient bags to the 40p value, even if you have enough shopping to require the bags!

heat added though for the post.

Good deal op but how sainsburys stays open is beyond me it's far more expensive than the rest in my local it's always empty how it survives is beyond me
#14
My local Sainsburys is always empty too. Only time I ever saw it remotely busy was on the day it opened a couple of years ago...

Stays open because snobs think its better, because of its relationship with the Lords Sainsbury and their families, and because of its recent clever marketing.

Thanks OP, but does this voucher also work if I purchase electronics or other things at Sainsburys or it has to be groceries only?
#17
Just worked for me with new email, thank you.

Title states grocery so there lies your answer ;)
#19
We're sorry, your voucher cannot be applied as you have not met the qualifying spend.
Please note spirits and liqueurs are not included in the qualifying spend and other exclusions on alcohol may apply during promotional periods

cold from me.

got mine just fine....plus i saved £33.13 on deals so effectively saved over £50....thanks for the tip ;)

Many thanks OP just grabbed a bargain bit of booze Campo Viejo Temparanillo reduced by 25% from £9.00 to £6.99 so only paid £44.74 for 9 bottles including £3.99 delivery (free delivery code didn't work) instead of £84.99. Equates to £4.97 a bottle delivered tomorrow night thank you very much.
#22
Anyone know how long these will last?
#23
Delivery code has expired but the £20 off still works :) thank you!
#24
As others have said delivery code expired but more than happy with £20 off the shop - especially as I was about to use a £15 off voucher I'd got.
#25
ichigomoo - voucher should work on anything you can buy in a store, including booze - see other postings from those who have bought booze - clothes and electricals - although with sainsburys, you never know for sure!
#26
hi how do u enter this code? I was trying to buy a microwave every time I tried it wont let me put letters in, just numbers, on my smart phone, I than tried on the laptop same wont recognise the code as its expecting numbers not the letters ?confused? this is where u enter either promotional code or necter card number, is there any other place that I may have missed.

Most booze yes but not spirits and liqueurs - this seems to be a recent change as I had a discount voucher for use in store and had a bottle of whisky as part of my shop and that's how I found out. The person on the till said they were notified about 6 or 7 weeks ago and it was some new legislation (no idea if that's the case of not).

All worked for me. Even with having to pay for delivery it is still over 20% off. So if you go for the big ticket stuff on sale its great. Did the same with Waitrose last year and ended up paying something like £11/litre bottle for Bombay Sapphire gin, normally like £20/bottle.

Stays open because snobs think its better, because of its relationship with the Lords Sainsbury and their families, and because of its recent clever marketing.

It stays open because the quality of the food is much better than the 'cheaper' competition! Anyone who thinks Tesco, Asda or Morrisons are on the same quality level are deluding themselves...and I'm not a 'snob', I shop at all the other supermarkets which is why I know Sainsburys is the best of the bunch... ...and I'm not bothering to include Waitrose which could be said is for snobs ;)
#36
Agree with Krinkle. Sainsburys sells better quality food than Tesco, Asda, Morrisons. In life, you get what you pay for more often than not. Everyone has different standards i guess though.
#37
Thanks op
