This is a very hot offer. I took my car to a branch in South Wales today. The online booking worked well. The staff were really courteous and even remembered my name when I returned to collect. My car passed the MOT just fine with no rip off charges or anything. There was one advisory point but they didn't fail it over something minor. The Autotrader discount worked a treat. I have nothing but praise for Nationwide Autocentres. Other people's experience must be down to problems at local branches. I took my car in at 8.30am and it was completed by 10am. Well done.

So I only paid £33 for my MOT. Other companies charge the legal maximum. Now what shall I spend the money I saved on? Decisions, decisions..

Great offer if your just getting your MOT done.

Nationwide are full of it. Purchased a car from Cargiant and had a 3 year service warranty with Nationwide. Took my car in for its regular service, get the report back - my brake discs and pads need changing. The guy rings me and tells me that they are at bare minimum level and that I should have them replaced immediately.

They wanted £200 for pads and brakes on my Ford Fiesta (03 plate). I take my car to my mechanics (who would have charged me £130) and he takes off my brake discs and pads and shows me that they dont need replacing AT ALL and that they are nearly as good as new! Needless to say i made a complaint.
