20% off online orders at Wickes

Instructions:Signup to Wickes online newsletter and create an account with them. Then use code SN1 to get 20% off your first order. It says it's valid for 10 days from today (Tues 4th Sept). This end date may just be because I got the info today - therefore it may work for 10 days from the date of any registration. Instructions are:

Step 1
Click here to go to the Sign In page. Fill in your details and press the red Submit button.

Step 2
Next, on the My Account Information page, click the red text and go to Step 3.

Step 3
Click the tick box next to E-mail and then choose your preferred e-mail format. Wickes suggest choosing HTML Only.

Signing up to the newsletter apparently upgrades your account so you can use the SN1 code. If you don't sign up to the newsletter then it says it won't work.

Dissapointed. Many items state "in store only" eg aquapanel. conti board.
Also How to apply this code to a fitted bedroom? , kitchen?
#8
Have found their on line service excellent. Far better than service they cannot deliver in the branches. 20% is good deal.

I'm with gdawes, I'll be buying the Daytona kitchen units from Wickes instore but will this code actually give me 20% off my order (as well as the 50% they've already discounted off the Daytona range for this month only)?

obviously if I can get a further 20% off I'll be doing it online
#10
phone them and ask to order with a card using the discount code but want to pick up from a store , should work
#11

I used a 20% off code a few weeks ago and the discount was applied on top of sale prices. Also got approx' £20 tracked via Quidco, so log into that first, if you use it.

Thanks divingdave.

I've just bought loads of laminate flooring for my house and saved over £100.

I ordered a kitchen online with them and received 20% off on top of their sale prices. One thing to watch out for is some of the units are not discounted online when they should be (the 30%/50% etc discount isn't applied). I only realised this after checking the price list. However they simply refunded the unit and I bought it back at the correct price instore. This can probably be done over the phone also. Their service was very good - a missing piece was delivered to me the very next day after I phoned them.

Will have to revisit web site. I need wardrobes and the instore price inc 50% disc came to £700. I had the parts list from the in store designer. However I could not see how to order the parts for say the Somerset range online. All I seemingly got online was a brochure.

Also note Wickes have a habit with Kitchens and Bedrooms of putting them up for a month then re advertising them with 50% discount. My wardrobes have been on discount past 2-3 months. Now just gone backup to full price. I am guessing that on sep 24th they will come down again. Having been higher previous 28 days. Since Jan I have observed this a few times.

Thanks will come in very usefull, voted hot

Is this still on? I tried but didn't see any mention of the 20% despite signing up for all the account and spam.:-(

I will try later as was hoping to buy a patio.

I said in earlier post how good the on line service is....I mailed them last Thursday on a product question re my proposed patio . No response at all.

If you can update me MJ5 I'd appreciate it. I'm awaiting an email about said offer myself, that's why I posted on here.

I'll have to sign up with another email as the last one didn't get the offer mentioned, and I can't see that banner ad anywhere...makes me think it's been pulled.

I was hoping that the offer lasted 10 days from sign-up so I can get a kitchen too.
#21
Tested it and it works. There's no confirmation email to say that you have the offer, but it can be used in the checkout section when you place an order. Tried it with some laminate flooring pack and the discount showed up.
#22
Just used this and got £30 off my new units for my office, plus my quidco tracked aswell. Many thanx

By the way it expires tomorrow aswell, so hurry peeps.
#23
Got £85 off all my kitchen units last night. Dont think that code runs out anytime soon.

Voted hot of course.

I did that when I posted earlier... :whistling:

I take back what I said about their good on line srvice. It took them a week to respond to a product query ( which their site says they respond in 1 day) and then I simply could not access site on Friday ( the last day of offer). Spoken with them today and simple response is that offer has finshed.

Totally agree their so called customer service totally sucks.

Go to their web site http://www.wickes.co.uk/page/lpaffiliate and they are promoting a spend and save discount of upto 15% off but it expired a month ago. E-mailed to tell them that I was about to place an order with a value of £1600 based on that offer but found it had expired, suggesting that they take it off their site but got a useless response simply saying "We can confirm that the offer that you are showing is no longer available. We would recommend that you view what is available to you on our website.

Duh ! how clueless can you get, it is not me that is showing the offer it is their dumb out of date web site !! They clearly couldn't care less that I was disappointed by an out-of-date offer and that I would not be placing an order with them as a result. Not even a note to say sorry we'll take it down.

I suggest that people e-mail complaining that they are still advertising an offer that has expired, maybe they will listen if they deluged with complaints, but then judging by the useless response they probably don't care.
