No it hasn't?
Different Card, so different deal.
I do have one of these cards, but don't qualify for the other one!!!!

I have one of these cards, got the free 4 month deal with the Daily Mail last summer and a code to get 50% off when that expired.
Having never had one before, I didn't realise the savings that can be made.
Have used it numerous times, also deals to get into touristy things in Edinburgh/Glasgow/Dundee and it has paid for itself many times over.
Well done OP.

If you can hang on until May then you should be able to take advantage of the Daily Mail offer for a free two months pass which in turn qualifies you to purchase an half price annual pass.

Here's the link to last year's deal:

...Or a one legged "tanned" lesbian. Why are normal people always discriminated against nowadays? I've been trying to get reductions on rail tickets for weeks now (day return tickets, once a week) but no joy anywhere- absolutely nothing out there to help me.
#14
So what sort of discounts does this thing get you?
#15
Can also get via Clubcard vouchers, got mine recently for 14 pounds worth.

Some county's do there own railcard, ie i live in essex and we have a network railcard, its not National though. So only discounts for traveling in southeast area, best place is go ask at your local station

so - if there are only two of us (couple w no kids) will this work out savings?

Is there a tanned person railcard available? Are they not viewed as 'normal' people?

I first got the Daily Mail deal in 2007 and it's ran every year since then. Nobody can say for certain it will run again this year but there's a good chance it will going off past form.

So what sort of discounts does this thing get you?

Gets you up to 30% sometimes more off rail fares. Also get discounts on Haven holidays and a year's membership to the YHA (Youth Hostel Association). If you live in London & South East you can use it to get a discount off 1 day travelcards bought from National rail stations. Think you can even get it linked to your oyster card. F & F railcards also email you some good offers.
#24
good spot - a timely discount ! have some heat.
#25
Do I have to wait for the card to come through the post to use this, or do they provide you with a temporary version by email which you can use until the card arrives? I ask because I'm looking to travel on Friday with the kids, and the card is unlikely to have arrived by then.
#26
You can book without the card as there are no checks at time of booking. But you need to have the physical card on you when you travel I'm afraidv
#27
Offer now valid until midnight on 15th March.
#28
Offer ends 14th March 2012.
