FYI you don't need a tracking code to get the "25% off". It's available to everyone - just go to http://www.ctshirts.co.uk/

What particularly irks me about this is the illusionary savings people are offered. Shirt makers, á la TM Lewin and Charles Tyrwhitt have begun offering optically large discounts on their shirts over the last few years. In reality, they have promotions all year round, rather reminiscent of the eternal "closing down sale" you used to see in corners of the high street.

These shirt makers aim to attractive people who don't normally buy more expensive shirts with their large discounts advertised. The truth is that the quality of these shirts matches their "reduced" price.

Now I'm not saying that you shouldn't buy these shirts, but please bear in mind that these brand names no longer have the allure they once had. People who tend not to buy expensive shirts may like these shirts, but you will find a similar quality shirt for less money at M&S.

If you are in the market for a quality shirt, I'd recommend a visit to Jermyn Street in London,(incidentally, where all of these discount shirt makers were originally based) and buy from a decent shop that doesn't have big 20% off signs in the window.
