This is obviosuly a good deal, but watch out if your a previous customer. I got this code from Lovefilm though the post yesterday and went to re-activate my old account only for it to tell me there would be a £15 re-activation charge! Not quite the deal they make out, but 2 months free rental is still a bargain.

Unfortunately in the past few months, i've found Lovefilm to be rude, unhelpfull and their service has really deteriorated....so much so i only cancelled my subscription a week ago. Seems to me they are really trying to expand their customer base just now, but once you've signed up, they don't really care about supplying the service you pay for.

Thanks for this :) It's a very good offer if LoveFilm have improved their service :santa:

I would recommend trying to start up an account under an alternate e-mail address if you have previously been a customer. The voucher does not say that previous customers or free trial users are excluded from the offer, just "existing" customers, so to charge £15 doesn't seem very impressive. I might go to the effort of trying this later and will report back whether I am sucessful or not.

Don't forget, they want you to stay beyond the free trial so DURING the trial customer service is usually spot on. I doubt whether I will pay for the service there is no commitment to stay and 3 months of DVDs is plenty! I can't recall seeing anything about a £15 reactivation fee when I input this code but have emailed customer services just to be sure!

This is the same deal that was posted a few days ago except the code is slightly different.Read the thread and you will see that this deal is definately for previous customers and it is indeed totally free. The activation fee is a bit of an offput, but after phoning them it was assured to me that i would not be charged anything until March.:santa:If you want to ring them for further details i found a freephone number 0808 200 0193

lovefilm are appauling, their service is well below standard, i have now gone back to blockbuster - turn around on dvds (from sending one back and receiving another) is 3 days max, lovefilm can be upto 5 days. i was paying 12.99/month for 2 dvd unlimited at lovefilm, now i pay 14.99/month for 3 dvd unlimited at blockbuster, i'd much rather pay a little more for the faster service, means i can see more films a month! oh and they have far more dvds in stock!! :-D

Couldn't agree more steve, but at £00.00 a pop, take it and screw them for a change.Whatever dvd's you get from them are all totally free,so you can't lose, just remember to cancel in good time.If all existing members cancelled and took this up,just think of the damage it would to to their figures.A bit of payback for all the torture they have put us through in the past.:santa:

Hi, I've just signed up, free until the 25th June!!!
I did make a mistake to begin with and chose the 3 unlimited package giving me only 14 days...silly me didn't read the previous comments.
However, I emailed them and told them their system cocked up and I should have had 90 days. They apologised and sent me this link
www.lovefilm.com/freegift
and told me to put in this code again and choose the package of my choice...all 90 days! Really chuffed!
I also signed in as an existing customer and no re-activation fee!

Just a reminder for folks signing up for this,to go through Quidco for cashback, which has been upped to £14.50.
3 months of free movies and paid £14.50 for doing it.No brainer.
I also noticed that Blockbuster are no longer offering cashback through Quidco.:-(
