Did the March voucher come out does anyone know?
#8
just used it thanks :)

Also just used this fine, Pre-Ordered MGS4 !

Yep, this is still live. :)

No offence to the op but this code is meant to be for members of the Armed Forces. IMHO we dont get many discounts or alike for things like students do so abuse of this code could jeopardise future discounts for us from Game or this one being pulled.
So sorry but gonna vote cold.

I can see your point but on the other hand if you are willing to use this site to get codes and stuff that were meant for other groups of people then you can't really complain when the same thing happens to your group... I'm sure companies like GAME are well aware of sites like this ;)

Fair point.

Nice voted hot but what happened to the GAME traditional £5.00 voucher?

That tradition ended ages ago.

Even with the code and points I can get games I want cheaper elsewhere. The only thing keeping me tempted on upcomming titles like Mass Effect and Spore is that they offer a Play on the Day guarentee.
#17
Thanks, heat and rep added

Don't forget double points on pre-orders, and QuidCo at 11%... you don't find that everywhere else. Plus GAME (and Play.com, and sometimes HMV) do have some "exclusive" editions of games with extra artwork (slipcases), in-game items, or postcards/booklets etc.

See, I want to give my business to GAME because they've never let me down on the delivery of pre-orders. I just wish they were more competitive on price. The code helps.

Oh yes, you should only give your business to them if the discount code then makes the product cheaper with them... unless, like you say, you want the item a day or two in advance.

I had "Mario Kart Wii" delivered 2 days in advance from Gameplay.co.uk (another sister organisation to GAME list GameStation)... at the time they were the cheapest with a £5 discount code.

In the past four or five pre-orders, GAME have delivered, at worse case, a day before the official release date. One instance they were 3 days ahead of the release date!

I've only ever found a pre-order arrive before the release date once with GameStation though.

Regarding exclusives at GAME, they have "Race Driver GRID" [PS3 & Xbox 360] in some fancy slipcase with an extra artbook. They are not the cheapest, and the discount code brings the price down below many competitors (who only offer the 'standard' edition), but if you are solely ruled by price then yes, it can be found cheaper elsewhere.

But with GAME Reward Card points & QuidCo it makes it worthwhile as effectively it is only around £2 more for the Exclusive edition.

Thing is though, I know in two weeks time it'll be down another £5 at GAME & in two months they'll have it as a "Deal of the Week" for £10-£15 less.

Decisions... decisions... :)

I ended up ordering the "Race Driver GRID" Exclusive edition from GAME around 9:55am. I received an e-mail at 12:20pm to say it was being despatched :)

"Play on the Day guarantee."? Is this for games that are pre-ordered? I pre-ordered GTAIV months before it was released and received it a day late. Will never preorder with them again. Customer service is none existent both by phone or email.

Not a bad deal by the way but won't order with them again on principle

That's fair enough if you have had a bad experience.

Maybe the delay was down to postal delivery not through anything they could have influenced directly... all my pre-orders from GAME have always arrived ahead of, or exactly on, the release date.

But, if you have in writing that you were to receive the title on the day, then I would certainly not be letting a lack of reply to my e-mail(s) & call(s) go unmentioned on forums such as this.

Personally, I have always found their customer service team very helpful, but they cannot do everything right 100% of the time.

Just been to check my mail & I have a package from GAME.

I now have the "Race Driver GRID" [PS3] title in "GAME Exclusive Slip case" (with an artbook in the same slip case that you don't get with the 'standard' edition)... pretty good turnaround from order to delivery. Well done again, GAME. And thanks for the voucher code, littlehoneyz.

Try this:

Or search for wrap if you fancy a different colour.
