I did something similar at christmas time and bought something for £60. What they do is they charge you £60 then refund you the £30. I got my refund the same day they took the money out, but i have heard some people getting the money back a few days/weeks later.

New customers only ..

Just got 30 quid off some draws. fantastic. Code still works:thumbsup:

Good to know that this still works however I'm having problems with it.
I tried to use my Marshall Ward account which I used once before (November 2007) and it wouldn't let me use the code.
I know this code is supposed to be for first order only but I heard others say on this site that they used/reactivated old accounts.
:?

Ive just used this today Sat 4th April, still works, I signed up for a new account and it reactivated my old one. Got my Miss Sixty Dress Ive always liked, but at £125 wudnt pay that much for it, well, now in sale and with another £30 off is costing £58 delivered. Still a lot of ££ for a dress, but well worth it instead of the £125!! Nice one, thanks OP x

I used a similar code last month (£10 off) for both my Littlewoods account and my Additions account and it worked on both so it's worth a try:thumbsup:

I have had this happen to and was shocked when i noticed, however as others have said they have refunded me the £30 now (well its showing up as going through). If everything is ok, then they will do the same for you aswell.

hi. what does it mean to 'reopen an account'? dose it mean you are applying for a new account again and you go through a credit check?
#32
I used the code this week, it works.
But a bit concerned about that after reading T&C on their website:

we may reject your order or alternatively process it without the promotional benefit being applied. If, after accepting your order, we find that you were not entitled to use the code or did not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reverse the benefit that you obtained. If you transacted on a cash basis e.g. by debit or credit card, we may take a further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained, from the card used.

so that means they may take a further payment, if they want. They can just say u r using a code that has expired, so you r not entitled to use it, then take 30 pounds back.
How long would it be before they take such actions?
#33
just used the code and it worked fine. checked my account straight after the order but no refund yet, obviously al wait on it a few days and if i get the £30.00 happy days, if not you can always send the stuff back so either way you cannot loose out really, and maybe just to make sure they don't take the money a few days or weeks later back out a could just cancel my card hahahaha. Either way you cannot be ripped off lol.
#34
...plus anyone know how long delivery is ? sure it was £3.95 or there abouts ????
#35
Can the code be reused on an account?

It no longer works. When I tried to open a new account, I was told that my application was unsuccessful.
Since when do online retailers do credit checks when registering?
#36
This code still works on Additions. Not tried it elsewhere.
