Code cannot be applied
#2
How not?
#3
i used it earlier & worked fine for me :)

It maybe that you have to set up a credit account (not paying by credit or debit card) as is the case with Littlewoods Direct as they are part of the same group. I had this confirmed when trying to use a Littlewoods Direct code today.
#5
Can anyone confirm if it is just for Credit sales or can be used for credit/debit card sales too?

Thanks

i used for a new account with a debit card  ordered elmo live :)

when do they give you the £30? Is it credited to your card afterwards?

I got confirmation of the order with discount via email, but when checking my account online, it doesnt show the discount (I preordered a couple of games so havnt been charged yet) just the total amount.

Yup, it still works for using a debit/credit card. The £30 was taken straight off the total price for me! Thanks!

I had preordered Little Big Planet and Resistence 2 - LBP was due today, but now the status shows it due on the 15th! I think i will cancel -esp as it wasnt clear if i was getting the £30 off.

if you pay by card they take the full amount as soon as the order goes threw .im on the phone now getting a refund i ordered on line 10 mins ago they debited full amount and state you have to pay full amount untill you receive the item then get the 30 back even though the email states 30 off and the invoice you print states 30 off it still takes full amount

absolutely disgusting
#12
ohh and guess what looks like it may take up to 14 days to put the money back on my card although the order was canceled within 15 mins.

DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FULL AMOUNT

I have just purchased an ipod for £82.95 using my card, the £30 was taken off immediately. All retailers are around £109 for ipods, so a real bargain!! Thanks
#14
Worked fine for me opening a new flex account - thanks.

Ordered an air hockey table. They charged me the full amount and told me the £30 would be credited back to my card after the 14 day home approval period had lapsed and they knew I would be keeping the goods.......

A bit sneaky really.

Exactly as i stated all invoices apart from the web site and your card will have the £30 off ,iv now sent 5 emails to complain and ask how long for my refund to be put back on my account and still no rely in my opinion this is a very bad deal

It is taken off immediately. untill you check your account balance:x and look on line !,unless for some reason they like the sound of you ??.only way to use it is to set up an account then wait the 14 days get it re credited pay for it then close account

But still like i said dont use it unless you want to pay FULL amount and get cr*p customer service

Checked my bank account and they have taken full amount. Called up and was told I had to open an account for the £30 off to work. Told them to stick it as I didn't want an account so cancelled my order and asked for a refund. God knows how long that will take.

I've used this code 3 times since yesterday:whistling: . Littlewoods took full amount and refunded £30 into bank a/c immediately. Second and third times (additions/marshall ward) opened credit account (interest free) £30 deducted straight away. This code works great, just need to open new accounts. Once paid up ,shut all accounts can't go wrong:santa:

my refund went in today 5 days later

Those of you who used your cards and 3o was not in the amount taken from your account must be well liked at additions lol ,

On top of them charging the wrong amount i have sent 5 emails since last fri all with a bit stating they will get back to me in 24 hours and guess what not one reply!! would not recommend them to anyone on the customer service alone !

So does it matter if Im a Littlewoods Extra customer before? Kinda confused what you have to do to get this to work. Was hoping just to use my CC online (to get the quidco) but some people say you have to open a credit account?

Grateful for any clarification - I guess this always works at Marshall Ward as well? Might get all my christmas stuff now then :-D

I tried this before when it was first posted, opened account and entered code, it didn't go through so I never bothered and forgot about it until last week, I received a phone call from additions direct saying that I hadn't made my 1st order they would still give me £30 off of a £60 spend but it wouldn't work online had to be via phone and only on a cash account, I have a account with marshall ward so don't know if this is why it didn't work online, I have since received a letter stating the same, just don't know what to buy now.

Hi. Im going to place an order with Marshall Ward using the £30 off code. Do you know if it will work if i use it at littlewoods & additions too as a new customer? Im confused as they are all part of the same company and dont know if they use the postcode, name or E-mail as the account ID. I want to get the kids toys for xmas. Kate x

they take the full amount and then claim to be refunding you the discount. bit cheeky i think. i've just had to borrow the money as I have a dd coming out tommorow!

I ordered a Sony Ericsson K770i PAYG in silver from Additions Direct the other day. It was reduced from £79 to £65. After the voucher this came to £38.95 delivered + 8% Quidco. Ordered saturday night, delivered Monday. Fantastic!

Still available if anyone's interested.
#32
I used this code last time it was posted and it worked fantastic.

Althought they say £30 will not be refunded until 14 days after delivery mine was deducted immediately upon ordering so although full ammount left card it was £30 cheaper really.

Hope this makes sense - really good deal if you keep an eye on your statement.

£30 off is a GREAT deal!!!!!

Excellent customer service and faster deliver than stated and also receive a follow up phonecall a few days later to check parcel arrived.
#33
Ive just phoned them and they confirmed they charged me the full amount and £30 will be credited back to the card once delivery has been confirmed.

i'm fine with this to be honest.:) good deal :) just got two PS3 games (motorstorm2 and LBP) for £41 delivered lol
#34
Thanks used with 8% quidco
#35
They sometimes work and sometimes don't. I just used it with Littlewoods and they charged me full price and have been on the phone all day trying to sort. Cancelled the order in the end. Not worth it. Its the same code for all the catalogues it seems.

If you're using on a 3 for 2 deal, make sure the total comes to £60 once the free item has been deducted.

It can work but you have to watch them like hawks and the customer service is TERRIBLE!!
#36
thank god i just read the rest of your comments, i was just about to get a microwave, im not now they take all the money!
#37
Just phoned them to try and place an order, I was told these if you weren't invidually mailshot it them you will be charged the full amount for the items, or it could be charged back at a later date.

I'm not going to bother at the prices I risk to pay.

Did you order by phone?
#39
So you can get away with this on Additions, Littlewoods and Marshal Wards?

Worth a try - just return the item if don't qualify for discount

Is this for a cash account or credit account?

Ive just used... Thanks.
Looks like only took £36 out but we'll see, mite use again if works.
