Instructions:It is simple, just put in the code when prompted at checkout.

I got some great deals using this code, but please be aware that it is not valid for sales items or expensive electrical items. In their terms and conditions it is stated that it expires after 22,000 orders, so you might not want to wait too long!

How would you define expensive electrical items.... when does an item cross the line to being expensive? I'm just curious here, as I wouldn't want people to use this and then EmpireStores decide they have to pay full price (as has happened with other catalogue stores in the past)

Can you tell us where the code came from please Jerry please?

Welcome to HUKD by the way!

yeah be interesting to find the divide..., PS3 is £599.99 on their website but with 40% off that would make it a much better buy...

would also make it a cheap Wii with Zelda, Wii Sports, controller + nunchuck for £180 if the code works on that too (12 week delivery wait though).
#6
wanted to get an adidas jacket (not sale item) and didn't work. :-(

Rip off prices on that site - 40% off makes most things normal price. Good spot for the PS3 but why £599 to start with? Only one game.
#8
i can not find where to put the code, do you need an existing account?

Hi

I i have been a customer with empire over 10 years soon as i saw this 40% code via hot uk deals, i went straight onto the website and ordered the ps3 with game and extra controller came to £359.99, also not forgetting i get commission back as well per £10.00 get £1 back so even more savings.

I ordered it and printed the confirmation that it went through at £359.99, however with it been a ps3 i was a little concerned so i phoned the help line and went through it and asked if i applied this code would it go through he asked for the order code and he typed it in and confirmed to me that it would go through at that. so i have double confirmation from the help line i called 5 minutes ago (9:55am @ 3rd April 2007)

I said would it be faster ordering over the phone he said this code only applied to online orders only not phone orders and did say if i put it in it would go through but the online system is 24 hours, end of the day if it comes at not the discounted price i'll send it back or complain on the phone as they would have a reocrd on my account that i did in fact phone in right after my order.

Hope this helps guys

remmeber limited order go get one quicko

u put the code at the confirmation stage

Just tried it and for the cheapest Wii console pack (wii+nunchuck+remote+Wii sports+Zelda), Mario Galaxy, Sonic and the Secret Rings and an extra nunchuck controller comes to £251.96 delivered. At that price I don't mind the 12 week delivery wait!

(I had to apply the code twice for it to work though)

Happy buying! Excellent spot.
#14
I found you had to enter the code a couple of times for it to accept it if that helps

The search for good value K Swiss continues:-(
#15
wouldnt waste my time, ridiculously overpriced, discounts make the prices normal.

Mario Galaxy isn't released until 1st June anyway, so that may have something to do with the estimated delivery time?

£69.99 for PS3 games!!!!

Add the 40% off and you get it to £42 which is still more expensive than the shops! Nice on Empire Direct

No need:whistling:

Edited :)

they probably rely solely on people who cant afford 69.99 on a game
but could easily spread the cost over 12 months and pay about a hundred

Good code, thanks jerrymaguire and welcome to Hukd's :)

Can anyone else find ipod shuffles here ?:?

nah 12 weeks delivery lead on the console, the game looks like it will be delivered direct from the supplier when released.

Anybody after an extra nunchuk..may be worthwhile looking at this...work out at £12 each, cheaper than anybody else I could find.

shame they don't stock wii play, plan to get wii play and extra controller pack when I know the console is going to be delivered at this price!!!

I had the code referred to by a friend who received it by email this morning. According to the terms and conditions when i ordered it says that it is not valid for 'cloverleaf' items (electricals like flatscreen tvs etc.)
#26
nah just nano's (£129 = £77.40ish after code) or bog standard ipods (£269 = £161.40ish after code) I can see, but no shuffles

yeah you're right the £129.99 are misleading as come up at £229 delivered. BUT the one's titled "Apple Ipod Nano - 4GB - Big savings" (available in black or white) are £149.99.... that's £89.99 after the 40% off. A quick check on pricerunner has these at £123.36 (white) and £115.14 (black)...not a bad price then

The code does not apply to 'cloverleaf' items and these are marked clearly at the top of the item description stating that "this item is a cloverleaf item" in bold font.... So you can easily see what products this code will and will not work with before adding them to your basket. :-D

I would be very very careful with this discount. The most recent code I had (direct code by post) I entered did not go through properly. I had an e-mail confirmation with the code mentioned but did not come up on the statement. I had to forward them the e-mail confirmation to make it so the buy now pay later code was put on my statement. I can see this happening here, however I can not see people managing to get the discount code off as the code is probably not meant to be for widespread use.

Timberland boots work out at £75.00 when they are £120 - £130 pretty much everywhere else. Bargain!
#36
Nice one indeed.

Just ordered a Stainless Steel Breville kettle and matching 4 slice toaster that look the business for £32.
Well pleased with that.
Realise that Empire are generally more expensive to start off with but I think you can pick up bargains.

Hi,

Does anyone know if this code will work on exercise equipment?

I'm interested in buying this item:
MARCY ELLIPTICAL/STEPPER EXERCISER - Item Number: XD3688

after the code it would be reasonably priced at £120

I think you need to be registered to input the code, which I am not as I have never used them before.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
