5% discount on courier services

Instructions:Sign up for an account and you get 5% off delivery services with some of the top named couriers. They're already a pretty good price, and best of all you get 10% (or maybe 5%, the page is pretty unclear) from Quidco.

Finally - oops, mis-spelled the title of the company, maybe a mod could pop in and fix :)

Anyone heard of or used Interparcel before?

I used them today and within the hour someone from DHL came to collect the parcel. Hence my discovery of the 5% discount. Oh, and obviously they're on Quidco.

Thanks for this kallisti :)

I've used interparcel before, good service :)

Interparcel prices do not appear to be particularly competitive. For DHL use Parcels4Delivery or for UPS use Pharos International. Both are totally reputable and reliable. I just entered a sample parcel into both Interparcel and P4Del's sites and Interparcel quoted £12+ and P4Del £8+ ( both next day delivery ). Just thought I'd share that with you.

For what it's worth, this vaguely seems to be the case - just did a rough quote for the 15kg parcel to Australia I just sent via interparcel and parcels4delivery and pharos. The three prices were 94, 80 and 90 - so parcels4delivery came out cheapest. However, no quidco.. So, assuming that it's

interparcel: 94 - 5% this code = 89.3 - 10% quidco = about 80.40
parcels4delivery: 80 (don't know any discounts)
pharos: 90 (don't know any discounts)

So - after that lot, pretty competitive, AND using a named brand of courier, as a very irregular courier user, it was nice to see the DHL man take the things away (and to type in a number an hour later on the DHL site and discover that it had arrived in a Reading depot)

P4Del = Parcels4Delivery

There is a 5% code for Parcels4delivery on HotUKDeals ( I believe the code is "yorkie" ), so that would be around £76 and no waiting around for the not always reliable Quidco repayments. But, as always, its whatever everyone's happy with.

I was only passing on my personal experiences of these other companies as I've not used Interparcel. Without a doubt, the delivery service will be identical, but how do they deal with situations when things go wrong? There are other cheap courier agents out there ( eg Parcels2go ) who's customer service is, quite frankly, appauling when things go wrong, so, because I have had only good experiences ( both in terms of delivery and customer service ) with the 2 afore mentioned companies I feel it only right to recommend their services to others.

I have no axe to grind with Interparcel and they may well provide an excellent service, but I was just drawing attention to the fact that the prices quoted were not the best.

I have used both Interparcel and P4D.
Interparcel are one of the best for Overseas items but P4D are the cheaper of the two for UK deliveries.
Yorkie code gives you 5% off P4D.

Cheers for that info Dino. Next time I have delivery for overseas, I may just give the Interparcels chappies a try. I normally use Pharos for international deliveries, so it would be interesting to see how they compare.

parpster, I was just totting up the actual costs for my own info, I'll probably do a quick scan of all the above choices next time I'm using a courier (which at this rate of use should be some time around 2039)

Cheers.
