Instructions:Admittedly not as good as the last offer of £5 off £10, but nevertheless another giveaway... that is if you trust Amazon after their recent fiasco (it happens to the best ;-))

Exclusive £5 discount off selected products when you use your eligible MasterCard® credit card for a limited time. 1. Add eligible item(s) to your Shopping Cart for an amount over £40. 2. Important: Select your MasterCard credit card or add a MasterCard credit card as your method of payment. 3. Enter promotional code “PRICELES5” in the “Enter a gift card, gift certificate or promotional code” box on the select a payment method page. 4. Complete your eligible purchase. The £ 5 discount will be reflected in the Order Summary. For full terms see: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html?docId=1000842673

*** Types of Amazon CODE and USAGE ***

A bit like Tesco codes (eg starting TDX or X cannot be used with any other eCoupon code), Amazon "promotional" codes cannot be stacked to get greater discounts. Therefore something like the one-off 20% fashion promotional code (when you subscribe to Amazon fashion emails for the first time, btw don't bother trying to unsubscribe and then re-subscribe!) cannot be used with the MasterCard £5 off £40 promotional code. In the context of using it with any and especially the recent discounted Amazon gift vouchers (via an invitation only email), these (including the current Bespoke Deals £5 for £10 Amazon gift cards) can be used together. Finally, Lightning Deals are deemed promotional discount/ codes and once again cannot be used with other promotional codes ... but paid with any Amazon gift card (discounted or not)

*** Update 14 Jan 2015: deal still working because... ***

... whilst the actual offer expired on 31 Dec 2014, for those who might have clicked on the link last year and not used it, the code remains active "silently" (a bit like Tesco) in your basket until (if I remember correctly) 15 January 2015 when the code will then drop off (or may be it won't as some HUKDers are only using for the first time today!)... so use it or weep!

What fiasco?

I got loads of the fivers off

And we're all asking mods to ban selfish greedy leeches like you from HUKD

You've posted 18 deals? I've posted at least 500...Who's leeching here??

I noticed the £5 off a £10 spend first thing that morning on amazon and bought stuff on my various amazon accounts. I came on here to post it and it was already on

i think dodgymix is confusing the £5 mastercard spend on a tenner amazon voucher with
the penny fiasco...

i feel for these businesses and didnt order anything friday night..
Surely these companies should have safeguards in place to prevent this disaster happening. If i used a machine to reduce my prices and beat rivals by a penny everytime, I'd definately want to set a minimum limit..

All it takes is shill sellers to cut an item price to two pence, and presumably this system reduces down to one pence..
sounds like a cyber attack happened

No it was a bug in the software (Repricer Express) that caused it to reduce the prices of items that it wasn't supposed to be monitoring in the first place to a penny. In normal circumstances the seller sets the limit as to how low it can go.

Thanks - just used it. Credit also works if the item is over £40, but you part pay with Amazon vouchers/credit you may have :)

Think that would have put Mastercard and/or Amazon out of business! X) It was set to run to 24/12 or when the number of uses expired (not sure they revealed a figure)....I think it lasted almost 2 days.....not bad going with the HUKD crowd using and abusing it ;)

Somebody please explain this "The Offer will expire when the promotion budget will be used up or on 31 December 2014 at the latest. The Code can be redeemed on http://www.amazon.co.uk until 15 January 2015."

The offer expires on 31/12/14 the latest, however, the code can be redeemed until 15/01/15? If the offer expires on 31/12/14, how can it be used later?
#33
Have some heat, you just saved me fiver that can now be added to my new years eve drinking fund ;)
#34
Can someone explain why this is in vouchers when Chanchi's £5 off £10 deal last week was ok in deals?
#35
Does anyone know if this would work with a PayPal Mastercard? It's not really a credit card, more like a debit card I think, but nevertheless a Mastercard.
