These are fairly pointless discounts unless you were planning to do an order anyway. As you need a £50 order to get free p+p a 5% discount is not going to make anyone build up an order just to get the discount.

Anyone in that position should just go to Toolstation and get better prices there ( without short term discounts ) and free p+p on orders over £10!!
Cheers, been waiting a couple of days for this for some reels of cable to re-wire the house & saved myself £28

Yes, Toolstation are sometimes slightly cheaper or the same price although Screwfix will Price Match & Toolstation don't give discount codes & you don't get 6% via Quidco as with Screwfix

Toolstation simply do not have the branches that most people that order regularly need, closest toolstation to me is 30 miles away, screwfix have 3 within 6 miles. No matter where the job is its never more then 10 miles. Also some things are cheaper but some are more expensive and who can be bothered to browse 2 places when ordering several times a week.

With this in mind many tradesmen buy everything from one place rather then mix and match orders between two places.

The discounts are small but all add up, i ordered a £300 quid order today so got £30 off with this discount and £18 off with quidco. £48 off of £300 is a significant saving.
Can you forward me the email please? Or at least post the contents........I want to buy at trade counter
PM me your email adress and i will forward it to you.
I needed a mixer shower and this post just saved me £14.60 plus about £7 on quidco.. THANKS V MUCH
