I don't know, but it works!
#5
Hi can someone outline the process to make this work? Thanks.

I dont see a £4 delievery slot - they are all £6.95 if you want to book delievery - or standard mail at £4.95 plus it isnt accepting the code. Is this restricte dto food items or something? Thanks

I beleive it is, yes.

The cost of slots must vary from store to store, I booked one on Tuesday from 20:00-22:00 for £4.

Its really a free delivery offer when all is said and done.
#10
It's £3.99 mid-week for delivery, more expensive on weekends.

It beats the free delivery codes for Asda (which is £3.99 all of the time), as you do get some money towards your order as well.
#11
cheers enjoyed free delivery
asda putting up their free delivery to £99, no more free delivery with asda card when £50 spent

I've booked a Sunday delivery costing £5.99 - so only 99p and it saves me trying to go get milk, bread etc with the new baby
Thank you :)

Thanks robovan1, brilliant code as I can confirm there was no minimum spend.

My order came to just over £10.00. I chose a £3.99 delivery slot. The £5.00 off code equates to a free delivery and a saving of £1.00 off my shopping. Excellent!

I've just realised, I've saved some petrol & time too.
#15
£4.49 delivery, plus cheap Roses! yay!
#16
Can they cancel your order if you order only 1 or 2 items?

Yes, I'd be interested to know if Tesco will honour this. Do let us know guys?

I guess this code will be disabled as soon as Tesco see more and more £3.99 delivery slots filled with single items costing a little over £1.00. Of course the cost of diesel will be more than the profit on the item value but it will be worst from Tesco's point of view if all the delivery slots are filled this way particularly if large orders usually occupy those slots.

I'm not suggesting anyone shouldn't take advantage in this way but if Tesco aren't exploited, this code will run for a much longer time which will give more members a chance. I could be wrong, time will tell.

Think you are right about the £5 for registering, but got a funny feeling that 3% is only for non-food items, books/cds etc.

Got a call from Tesco.

I just ordered on Lindt chocolate and they wanted to make sure whether I really wanted to put such a small order..

Asked them about the total cost of the ordered which came to 37pence..

Anyways..fingers crossed...

Anybody got charged the full amount??
#30
I had a phone call asking about the order...confirmed...waited for delivery and got nothing....checked my inbox and its been cancelled due to a broken down van.

So they dont try to reschedule...they just cancel....because of a breakdown.

Wont be using them again.

My shopping items came today ~ they refuse £5 off voucher?
give them a phone call they say you need to spends over £50 to caim £5 off.. :x
#32
My delivery slot was 2pm-4pm today, 3.48pm...says that they are doing my shopping right now so its too late to make changes...will the discount be on the receipt the driver brings as i would like to have a look at what i got charged?
#33
My order arrived promptly this morning.

Regular groceries, original total inc. del was over £15 less the £5 discount.

One of the items were unavailable so just to let you know Tesco have delivered shopping at a total cost of £6.86

I wasn't 100% sure they were going to honour the £5 discount. :)
