That's a coincidence - we're away next weekend and meeting up with family (6 adults, 4 kids) and Brewers Fayre looked like a good candidate for a meal out. But my other half said they sell mass produced rubbish (her actual words are unrepeatable). It's not that bad is it?

Well i had it last nite - there was 3 of us and it was great service (tho it was quiet on a monday night) and everything got eaten - we all thought the food was really nice and it was cheap as well. I dont know about all of them but the local one to me gives you a free meal of your choosing if its your birthday.

The meals are massed produced. However, we have found that although, as you would expect, some are better than others, the overall standard is good for the price.
We eat there when travelling because they are usually next to a Travel Inn and are clean and well run to cater for the business people staying at the hotels. Also, I am disabled and they are easily accessible.
They also cater for children so are good for family outings.

We went there Friday tea time and we found the food lovely, it was quiet and i find if any pub is quiet then they take more time to prepare your meals as they're not rushed off their feet !
We had the meal deal which is 3 courses for £7.99 mon-sat before 6pm. Kids can get smaller ones too for £3.50 and £4.50. Excellent value but if your after a posh meal don't go for a pub meal cos most pubs like Brewers Fayre are mass produced thats why they can afford to give away vouchers etc ! But my experiences at Brewers have always been good !
