From your account - several months after you've received the item and used it.

So what looks like a good deal now will eventually wont be. Several people are taking them on - because frankly doing so is illegal. They have completed a contract after they have taken payment and sent the goods. There is no point in them bleating afterwards - their T&Cs do not override the Law - despite what they are doing.

Whilst none of this has affected me directly, its annoying to see companies act like this.

Hopefully it will get into the court soon - or onto watchdog. One thing is sure, they really wont like the adverse publicity.

Just ordered over the telephone, got a great operator she was brill. I already have an account, tried to order 4 items to take me over the £100 1 item was out of stock so the balance was £82. I was frantically trying to find an additional item and then she said not to worry its not your fault the item is out of stock, Ill still take the £50 discount off and then charged my credit card the £32 respectively. MADE UP THANKS. We will now wait for delovery monday she advised.

Hi I received a phone call out the blue from Littlewoods direct offering me the £50 off £100 spend. I ordered a Henry vacuum and bags to bring it over the £100. Received the goods yesterday and checked my account £55 . I am delighted as I was going to order one and the cheapest I could find it was £70+

HTH

Actually, you are wrong. They accept orders based on the buyer accepting their terms and conditions. If it is subsequently discovered that you have AGREED to their t's & c's and have actually broken them i.e. by using a promotional code fraudulently, then they are quite within their rights to reclaim the discount. Why on earth is everyone moaning about them - after all, you ARE trying to get something that you are NOT entitled to - and you all know it - so quit moaning when you get found out. Remember, fraud is a criminal offence....commit the crime, be prepared for the consequences!!!!

You must be mad to think they're not going to ask for the £50 in 2 months time when they all of a sudden decide your not eligable for the code.

Thats what they have done time and time again to me, my mum and other family members.

I will never ever shop with the littlewoods group again, this includes: Littlewoods, Littlewoods Direct, Kays, Gus, Marshall Ward, Additions Direct and even Argos.

I am taking my bussiness elsewhere.

There are retailers out there that have better prices, customer service and overall value then these rip -off merchants.

Index no longer exist because it was **** and a massive loss maker, and incidentally OWNED by Littlewoods. Go figure:giggle:

Ok ive emailed littlewoods asking if i can use this code with a buy now pay later code and heres what they had to say

Dear Mr Vader

Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately you are not eligible for the promotional code ZQ054 as this is only being offered as an incentive to customers who have not traded with us for a while.
The other code XX309 Buy Now Pay September 2008 can be used.
However, if you wish you can re-submit the order without the promotions if the goods are still required.

We look forward to hearing from you

I am thinking of opening 5 accounts , order goods using the 50 off code, return them and get 250 credit back!!. isnt that a cool idea ?
#35
Still around.. thanks for the pointer drobbo :)
#36
I was looking around for a Disney Pricess TV/DVD combi, cheapest I could find it for was £130 so thought I would give this code a try.

Phoned them and told them I wanted to query this code that they sent me with my statement (:whistling: ) as it seemed too good to be true, any catches?

He went through my account and said no that's fine, jsut straight up £50 off so thought I'd give it a go.

Delivery due on the 30th if they ask for it later I ain't really lost out still cos it was cheapest around anyway.
#37
lol, i was called a week or so ago from littlewoods asking me why i havent placed an oreder for a while even though i have just finished the three monthly instalment for my last item !!! weird? so i told them they are unreliable and a pain in the bottom, they then offered me the £50 off £100 and i asked about using online, they told me dur to the high volumes of voucher fraud that most online voucher codes are being cancelled and its best to order via phone. this code is a phone order only code, lucky if you get to use it without being offered personally.
i just ordered the new ds lite silver with game juiced 2 and will pay £82.50 in all which i feel is a good deal.
personally only had problems retriving money for broken not fit for purchase items from them and not voucher issues.
would defo advise against any large expensive electrical item as they will be a nightmare to get a refund out of!
#38
nice deal!
#39
Use at your own risk.

They sound desperate to me. Wonder why!
#40
Did anyone who got this voucher use the £25 off and get it taken back?
Im just wondering if they are kinda rewarding customers who didnt use the £25 voucher.
