    Hi there ALL
I have attempted several times to use the voucher opn offer for the £1 each way ion the Greyhound, but without success. Am I missing something here? Can anybody who has got it right let me know where I am going wrong?
    Cheers

It says you have to present a First bus pass when you get on the coach - do the drivers ask for it? I didn't realise until after I'd already bought it and did an internet search on the voucher code...

ive traveled on a couple of these and never shown a ticket

Just thought I'd confirm they didn't want to see a first bus ticket - they didn't even want to see a greyhound ticket, just took everyone's word for it!

The code doesn't seem to work on a journey after 30th of April 2011.

Code FCC works now but it does say when you make the booking that a First Capital Connect ticket must be shown when boarding. Previous offer didn't have this so decided it wasn't worth the risk to save a quid.

I tend to show the driver the confirmation on my phone - so they never really see much of the email. I reckon it would be quite easy to get away with.

Worst case scenario, I'll just buy a FCC rail ticket - found one for £1.20 with my railcard discount, which is less than the discount I would get with it!

EDIT: Just ordered and the confirmation email I received (which is what I show the driver) says nothing about showing a FCC ticket - and there's nothing obvious in the booking code that I can see.

So did it work when you showed the driver your confirmation email? or have you not travelled yet..
What is the route that you found a ticket for £1.20 with railcard?

Am wondering whether to use the discount code or not ... Dont want to get there and they ask for identification??????

used the FCC code on the weekend, I printed the confirmation from the email, its says nowhere that a code was even used, driver checked the ticket number with his sheet and no mention of bus ticket.

So , You can just buy the cheapest single train fair you can find " even if you dont use it " and you get 50% off ? does it have to be a London train ticket?
