In fairness is that any great disadvantage? I have not found any vast improvements with 64 bit other than being able to use above about 3.3Gb ram.

Unless one is intending to increase the ram above 4Gb 64bit will not make that much difference + in any case 64 bit needs more ram than 32 bit to give the same performance, so in essence with just 4Gb ram this PC may well be a little slower on 64bit.

Not sure about this model but some Medion PC's are supplied with an OS disc inc 64bit which you can choose to use instead of 32bit.
