Basically, the company I work for regularly try to obtain discounts on the high street and online for its staff, and they have now secured 50p off virtually all products at BangCD.

No company name required, no passwords needed, just click on the link and it will take you through to the discounted website.

Ive had a quick browse on the site and the 50p discount is already taken on the prices shown.

The discount is taken on virtually everything, although it appears that a small range of products remain the previous price. This range of products tends to be the BangCD special offers i.e. Chart CDs at £4.99 instead of £6.99.

An example discounted price is SuBos album I Dreamed a Dream at £6.49. The next cheapest I can find it is £6.95. It is of course available to download for £3.97 at Tesco Entertainment.

Im not sure if other promotional discounts and vouchers can be used in conjunction with this as I dont have any vouchers to try. I suspect not, but you never know.

With regards to the length of this offer, there are no details from my company, but it is implied that its for the foreseeable future, rather than a short time frame.

The website is a central address, so I would imagine this deal is struck between many companies, who use the same central portal to get the discount.

I have warmed it up but Bangcd are one of the worst delivery service ever! My son ordered two CD's mid November and we still haven't got any, despite one being supposedly sent on 30/11. This is the second time we have used them, and we should have really learned form the first time - which was pretty much the same delivery

Same here, still waiting for a CD I ordered weeks ago. I used Play.com recently and got it within 3 days.

i'm waiting for a DVD and CD I ordered three weeks ago. Was supposedly despatched nine days ago. Mailed their customer service, but as yet no reply. Will probably never use that website again.

Many thanks.

I added item to basket then went through quidco and it still showed up reduced so hopefully might get that too.

I finally received my CD from them today - was 'dispatched' on 23rd October! Steer well clear!

I wouldn't use this company again. Ordered the new Robbie Williams CD. It was apparently dispatched on 27th November and I only received the CD yesterday! When contacting their customer service they do not reply either.

I won't be using Bang Cd again. Took 32 days to deliver Robbie Williams cd then it was from South America

oh god these comments wasn't here a few days ago when i ordered from these lot, i ordered true blood on dvd as a christmas gift i was in 2 minds as to whether to use them or not but they was so much cheaper than the rest. Now i dont know if it will arrive in time! and i cant log in to cancel my order as it wont let me! im stuck, this sort of thing shouldnt happen in this day and age!
#15
Wouldn't bother ordering from them, took 3 weeks for the CD to arrive despite their stated '7 days' on their website. Sure I got it cheap, but wasn't worth the hassle. After 2 weeks I sent them an e-mail, still don't have a response, plus my account on there has now somehow vanished (system doesn't even recognise my e-mail).
Horrible business, thought I would never get the goods. Good deal shame about the company :(

The MUSE CD I ordered did not look like an obvious fake, looked retail. Have yet to open the cellophane though, so can't be certain.

I can confirm BangCD are a pants company.

Had an email saying they are refunding me as nothing arrived, but if the cd does arrive to return to the below address. Please really look at the address, im so glad i paid via credit card to cover any future problems or should i say theifts. Im even thinking of asking my credit card provider for a new card to avoid this.

The company is based in singapore. It originally started off as a small company, but it has grown over the last 4 years to more of a medium sized business. Your precautions of cancelling your card really aren't necessary but you as an individual should always take action in accordance with your own views and to ultimately satisfy yourself by eliminating any perceived risks.

The company, despite having a very basic customer service, is a genuine company and I have been using them for 4 years + now. Delivery times on average are about 7 days, but they have been as long as 28 days on some items and as quick as 4 days. I've ordered countless Chart Album CD's from them, normally in the price region of £4.99 - £6.99 and only once has a CD gone missing, which they re-despatched to me after e-mailing them.

I've also had 2 items that I've ordered that have gone out of stock. One of them they got back in stock and sent about 2 weeks later, another they couldn't gain stock of so they refunded my card. I always use my credit card for all online purchases, whether it be BangCD or Tesco's, just for peace of mind really.

The only thing I won't disagree with is their customer service certainly has the opportunity to be improved. I guess this will happen over time, particularly if they find a large number of customers are unhappy with their methods of communication.

I for one will continue to use this company and enjoy the range of discounted items. If i wanted an item quickly for a birthday present or something, I would probably get it elsewhere to ensure delivery, but apart from that BangCD would always get my business.

I hope you get your CD / order sorted. I'm sure you will have no problems, it may just take a little time.

ordered Life DVD's by David ATTENBOROUGH, @ £19.99 arrived within a week , but Top CASHBACK didn't track, appeal submitted but should come through at 10%.

We ordered new Robbie Album on 15th, despatch e-mail on 17th, arrived Christmas Eve for £4.99.

Quidco has tracked too at 50p. Very pleased - not bad delivery at Christmas time, would use again.

It's funny how things change.

Last Christmas I used Bang a lot. They were consistently cheaper and delivery was very good considering it was shipped from Singapore - a week to 10 days at most.

Similarly CD-WOW were OK but their delivery too takes an age and if they bother to reply to any e-mails, they too take an age.

This year I bought the majority of my CD's/DVD's from Tesco Entertainment. They don't come up on Find-DVD.co.uk so need to be checked independently but consistently came out cheaper and delivery was good.

I also used Zavvi quite a lot this year; due mainly to the £1 voucher code via SMS. There delivery was very good.

Amazon and HMV were amongst the quickest to deliver and Play also are consistently good.

Thanks, got Stark Trek XI for £8.49, next cheapest around £9.95. I've used bangcd many times and have never had a problem with delivery time, touch wood!
