once again - nice one - i do LOVE nectar points !!
#3
Great! Thanks for this. I have been searching for a BF voucher. I knew there would be one released soon after their Christmas offer was finished.
#4
I must say that their food is pretty damn good! and if there is a problem they always compensate me with free drinks or money off etc...

a few times they have been a bit slowing bringing the desserts!
#5

It didn't use to be like that and now we find that the quality of service changes considerably from place to place.

Last July, Whitbread, keeping their hotel based restaurants, sold their public house based BFs to Mitchell & Butler. Our local hotel BF manager said that there has been a lot of complaints about the drop in the standards of service and of course most people complain to Whitbread.

All the same, the meals are on the whole well worth the money and we usually manage to find a Nectar points voucher to make it more of a bargain.:)

Just to say we used this voucher last week, and enjoyed the £9.50 off in ********** this weekend.
But our Brewers Fayre said they are pulling out of the NECTAR Scheme, so just to warn you...in case they pull out before the voucher expires

Link no longer working.:-(

After working in a Brewsters (Brewers Fayre with manned Kid Play Area) for 2.5 years i can safely say i will NEVER eat in one again. The food you call so tasty is mostly out the freezer and microwaved or fried.

Yum...

I totally agree and my opinion matches your first hand experience!

Not knocking the offer but my personal opinion of Brewers Fayre food is not good. The emphasis seems to be on massive quantity over quality and they appear to be based on microwave dinners. Take for example the Sausages, Mash and Yorkshire pudding I had. The Sausages were rubbery and of dubious quality, the Yorkshire was chewy akin to eating a slipper and they used instant mash – how lazy is that?! There Is no excuse for instant mash….ever! (unless you’re a student ;) )

Still a deal is a deal and if you don’t mind cheap and cheerful...

It’s just that I’m a bit of a food snob J

They fry the sausages if their rushed :? Also, the mash is made up in big trays in the morning and they reheated when required

Pleased to have been able to help with the BF Nectar voucher.

As Mitchell & Butler have bought the BF pub restaurants, I expect more changes and as Sam 268 has hinted, there probably wont be any more Nectar points. All the more reason for as many peope as possible using this one. :)

With thanks to gary_rip for sorting the posting of the Nectar voucher on the forum.

does anyone know if you can use this voucher more than once?
As I may take my grandmother at the weekend as its her birthday...only place she will actually eat at without moaning!
#18

Afaik, they only bought the ones which aren't next to a Travel Inn? The ones next to Premier Travel Inns are still Whitbread operated, meaning same manky food :?

Yes, we print 3 and keep them in the car to use when we stop for a meal. We will be doing a lot of travelling during the next few weeks so the vouchers will be used in several places.:)

I don't think my vouchers are any use to others as they both have mine and my hubbies nectar card numbers on them and have nectar code J insted of c.

I have just noticed it says in the T&C

3. Offer not transferable, points only awarded to original recipient. 4. This coupon can only be used once and only original, undamaged coupons will be accepted.

So can the one above be used by anyone? As I say mine has my nectar account number on it above the code
#23
on an after thought if they were edited with your own card details they should work, as nothing else on them to identify them
#24
Thanks for this all :) Now links directly to the voucher for printing. Thanks palspal and gary_rip!

I was at a Brewers Fayre last night and the duty manager said all discounts / vouchers except a particular deal that runs until 6pm (can't remember what it was called) will not be offered as of the end of next month. They are no longer going to be running these promotions.

This particular Brewers Fayre was attached to a Premier Lodge so don't know if this change only applies to those.

This will loose them lots of custom, I for one frequent these, but never pay full price. Usually use the £5 for a meal for 2 vouchers. :-(

I believe all Brewers Fayre' not attached to a Premier Travel Inn (Owned by Whitbread) have been sold to another owner. Not sure if you meant a Premier Travel Inn when you said Premier Lodge? Afaik all BF attached to PTI should still be offering vouchers after next month. Only the ones that have been sold will stop, although i suspect they will offer their own deals.

Yes, it was a "Premier Travel Inn", I too suspect they will have their own offers / discounts.
