Great, I've been waiting for one of these weekends, it almost makes up for SVP not having google checkout. Thanks rayman

DVD+/-R media is currently cheaper at eBuyer because of the 10 pounds off Google Checkout promotion.
I bought 25pack spindles of top quality DVD+R media for under £3.50 per spindle at eBuyer; the same 25pack spindle costs £4.38+delivery.
Make sure you compare prices, I saved lots of $$ thanks to Google! ;-)

You may be right but ebuyer don't stock what I want, for example taiyo yuden printable discs, DVD cases and the price on kodak photo paper at SVP at the moment seems excellent.

I though I was being smart like this, then the box from eBuyer arrived badly damaged, with 1 spindle completely smashed! This was due to both the fact that they packaged it very poorly and that they use city link! SVP all the way from now on, can't beat Steve's service.

And eBuyer tell me I need to wait until next Wed/Thu until they receive the box back, then 10 days after that to get a refund then it can take up to 5 days for the money to credit the account! Farce!

I guess you just had bad luck!
I ordered 21*25pack spindles divided into 3 orders and they all arrived in perfect condition. Now I have enough blank DVD media for the next 2 years, so no need to order from SVP or any other retailer.
I ordered from SVP in the past and had no problems with them either!

Careful. The last time I used the cheap delivery option at SVP, they used CityLink who must rate as the worst courier company in the universe. In my case, CityLink didn't deliver the goods and didn't call me. When I finally got through, they told me that the driver reported that the road I live on is "not connected to any other" so he couldn't drive to my house. Funny that, as my car is parked on the drive and I didn't teleport it there.

Needless to say, my stuff just sat in the CityLink warehouse for a week until the SVP salesteam got on the case - who were truly excellent and customer focused BTW.

So, SVP - great products, prices and people - but using Muppets like CityLink is going to damage your business. If you do buy, just put a note on the order to request delivery other than by CityLink.

yeh svp great company but citylink suck bad.
#18
Never had a problem with CityLink myself.
#19
Citylink are good... Now TNT :x (dont get me started).

Yeah depends on the actual courier driver half the time, some drivers don't give a monkeys and leave your goods anywhere (or nowhere!) and others are excellent, doesn't really make a difference who the actual Courier company is.

Depending where you are and knowing where the local depot to your area is may help you, if they mess up delivering you may have to go to your local depot to get your goods quicker!

funny that i prefer citylink as its the same guy that always delivers my stuff and hes never missed the delivery day once and it also tells me when its gonna be deliverd so i can stay in and collect

5* for citylink from me!

Citylink are hit and miss in my area, but I often use SVP and always select either Royal Mail or Interlink (SVP let you make that choice).
If I order on the 99p shipping I email SVP and ask for the goods to be sent via Interlink and they always do.

A friend of mine gets his SVP stuff via Citylink and says it's always on time, so I guess its just my depot/area :(

No disrespect to SVP though, they always seem to do their part.
Shame they don't have the Google Checkout £10/£30 deal. That would make this offer ridiculously good!
