Instructions:Raring 2 Go have issued a new voucher for Alton Towers.

£17 for Adults and £12 for Children.

Better than BOGOF or Half Price - 54% off 'on the door' price!

**Direct PDF on 'go to deal' Link'**

Valid: 28.3.09 until 16.10.09. Excluding 6th 10th July, 13th 17th July.

The new voucher simply states:
"Bring this voucher with you to receive your discounted entry"

The previous voucher stated:
"Bring this voucher with you and your copy of Raring 2 Go for your discounted entry."
- Making it a slight risk that they would actually ask for it. (though they never did...)

Terms:
1.By using this Voucher you accept these Terms and Conditions and are bound by the Regulations currently in force at Alton Towers ("Alton"), copies of which are available on request.
2. This Voucher entitles the bearer to a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children, £17 Adult entry and £12 Child entry to Alton. Only one Voucher can be redeemed per person per transaction.
3.Visitors under 4 years of age enter Alton free of charge. Visitors under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a person 18 years of age or over.
4.This Voucher is non-transferable, cannot be sold and no cash alternative will be offered. The exchange price of this Voucher is £0.0001. Admission prices are subject to change.
5. This Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other voucher, offer, any discounted or concessionary rates, annual or family passes, inclusive travel packages, pre-booked or timed tickets.
6. Amended, defaced or photocopied vouchers will not be accepted.
7.This Voucher is valid from 28.3.09 until 16.10.09. Excluding 6th 10th July, 13th 17th July. All dates are for 2009. Dates are subject to change - please check opening dates before your visit. This Voucher must be used at the time of entry and is not valid when making advance credit card bookings or for the purchase of timed tickets or family tickets.
8.Alton reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry and to close and/or alter all or any part of the facilities including closure of rides and/or attractions for technical, operational, health and safety or other reasons including over capacity.
9.Size height and age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and attractions.
10.Exchange or sale of this Voucher for profit is prohibited. For further information visit www.altontowers.com.

I have a love hate relationship with alton towers...Love the rides, hate the fact i can only go on 5 rides for the duration of the day (11am till 6pm).

I swear i spent 1 hour walking 5 hours & 45 mins queing and 15 mins on the actual ride!!

Still i vote hot, as it is better than BOGOF slightly which everyone seems to get

Even with the voucher you can upgrade so you can get a queue jumper ticket. Last time I went, I went on every ride several times over. Hardly had to queue at all & you also get to go on the front row of rides like Nemesis & Rita etc.

This still work out cheaper than "On the door price" :)

I used the old one that should have needed a magazine subscription, and I got by with no problems. This one doesn't need that, so you'll be fine.

Not bad deal, but if you have a family of four, much better to go to the thrillhopper.com site and pay £126 for family to go to Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, Snowdome and Waterworld

As you say...queues are a nightmare although Oblivion was only 10 minutes wait...Air Nemesis and Rita were all 60mins

what is raring to go catalogue
#13
I went yesterday used the ticket fine (2 adults) all rides running except the skylift it not currently running.
Queues were very short especially for nemesis which had a 5 min wait.

Do you know if they'd accept the voucher if it's printed out in B&W, I haven't got any colour ink in my printer!
#15
dont know mine was in colour , should be fine just say you only have a b&w printer..

I would imagine all they really need is the barcode to scan, so I shouldn't think it'd matter.

Question, I want to go for 2 days but the first day being the 16th October and the second the 17th. On the T&Cs the voucher is valid till the 16th. Do you think that I could get the 2 day voucher?

IYKWIM?:?

From what i recall, you but the one ticket at the discounted rate, then go back at the end of the day and buy the next days ticket cheap, its usually advertised on the back of the ticket, i would ring and ask them first tho
#19
Could you use this to get a day's admission at the waterpark instead as in the terms and conditions it says "entitles... at Alton", just wondering as it might be nicer.

Hiya im going to Alton Towers on Sunday and I have printed out the voucher but my barcode is not the same as it looks like online, it all kinda dotty, is there somethuing wrong with? also is it meant to be A4 size cos it doesn't seem to fill up the whole page, do i have to cut it out or something? sorry to ask so many questions I've never done this before! thanks

Hi Ranji, Did you use this voucher as i am hoping to go tomorrow, did they accept the dotty barcodes as my printer has done exactly the same thing.
#23
Just downloaded the PDF and it doesn't have a barcode on it.
Is this a problem?
