went today was absolutely abysmal ,the queues were over an hour for every single ride ,was wasps everywhere, and the worst thing was the skylift is broken for the forseable future (the main station burnt down) so you have to walk from one end to of the park to the other.

Thats the unfortunate luck of the draw at Alton Towers. Mate went only last week and said it was nearly empty, the lack of skylift is a real bummer though, its too spaced out to be running back and forth with a 5yr old... they should make it clear that its knackered :x

Nope one is chalk the other is a very nice full flavoured cheese...... I'll leave you to decide which is which (Alton Towers is white and very brittle if you need help!:-D)

Went on Saturday, queued for 2 hours to go on Air.

98% of your day is either walking or queuing.

Can't say as i haven't been to Florida yet obviously you need a holiday there etc: so its alot more cash Alton towers for a large amount of people is just a drive away for a day out so maybe its a get what you pay for thing :-D

I like Alton towers and ive never used the Skylift but i wouldn't ever go in the school holidays myself :whistling:
