Was speaking to them on the phone because they took the discount of £10 back after sending the items with the discount - asked me where I got the code because they are currently investigating codes being put onto internet sites. I said I had been sent it (Couldnt remember if it was through post or email since they send so much!) and the woman said that they have a record of which codes have been sent to who & it wasnt showing on my account. Said they are investigating my account

Someone else said that they received an email asking where the code had come from because they were investigating codes being used by people who werent issued them

Note: I have only placed a couple of orders, all been for more than the discount amount, and only ever used each code once. So is not like I have done anything any of you havent done - meaning you could be next

I wouldnt even be tempted to use this crook company if they had a £50 voucher with no minimum spend. Myself and so many others have had very bad experience with them.

Yep still waiting for the fools to come and pick up my converse bag, its gonna be stinking been in the wheelie bin for weeks :-D

could this be the end of the good codes?
none of the £10 off codes work anymore
#10
Really???? I tried one a few minutes ago for my missus and the total came up as ... £0. Still waiting for the confirmation email to come through though... We'll see.
#11
which one did you try?
For all of them I'd get "code not recognised" or something.
Perhaps there was a glitch at the time. Will try again tomorrow.

Used a couple of the £10 codes last night without any problems, and have had confirmations of the orders. Will have to wait and see what gets charged when the orders are despatched.

So, no new ones from anyone?!? Maybe the well is drying up after all ....

Hi, i had a letter yesterday telling me i had been investigated and my that they have closed but mine and my sons accounts.

We had 2 accounts one in each of our names. We always paid by credit card. I did however allow my son use my card as he does not have one of his own.

We have the same delivery address but used our own e-mail addresses when ordering.

We did exchange codes and we did use them more than once.

Apparantly empire stores is also part of the same group and according to letter we can not shop with them either. I have never shopped with them anyway.

They warned they are watching my address whatever that means.

I'm sure i wont be the only one who this will happen too.

Just letting you all know, be careful.

I bet they don't stop sending you the spam though!
But if they do stop, at least that's one good thing :-D

lol no. Since yesterday i have received 2 e-mails and this morning a mini catalogue in the post. Its going back, return to sender.

I am still waiting for my last oder which i placed a couple of weeks ago. According to my account, which i can still access on their site, my last order has been dispatched. They already have the money for it. Whether i get it or not remains to be seen, but if i dont receive it they owe me £16.00.

I would not recommend using this company. The price you see on their confirmation page is completely different to what you see on your credit card statement!

Getting through to them via email is a nuisance. When I found out, I tried to contact them so I can cancel the order, but they did not get back to me till days after...(after my order was shipped)

Be warned guys

is there still a code that gives you £10 & P&P off?
#18
Ordered twice, confirmation received, two weeks later out of stock!
Given up, complete waste of time.
#19
guys i need help with the sizes

I need a mens large t-shirt what size would that be ?
#20
probably 40" -42" should cover it.
#21
I had a strange experience with La Redoute, I basically got 4 t.shirts total £10.50 and used the £10 free delivery code, they took 50p from my account, I then had an email saying they will be paying it back into my account, which they did. I then ordered again using my husbands name and got it delivered to a different address, it turned up and then they paid the money back into my bank account again.

The only thing I could think was you got 20% off your first order and so they were paying that back to me, except that my husbands order came to £14.65 and they gave me £4.65 back which doesn't add up!!!

So, in the end I got a load of stuff for free, the delivery was quick, so a total bonus really!!!

Same here. Although their delivery turnaround is shocking (sometimes upto a month) I'm quite happy with the bargains Ive had off them. I'd always advise using your LaRedoute account to pay, that way if the discounts dont go through its easier to sort out and less hassle with refunds.

To date I have had:
18 pairs of Nike socks for £3
Nike vest for £4
Pair of Nike trainers for £25.
Pair of Tennis trainers for £20
Pair of shorts for £4
Plus numerous freebies, luggage set, 2 handbags (great pressies) etc.

Have had some orders cancelled because I tried reusing codes, but using different codes you are fine. Other orders I made which I sent back have always been refunded pretty quickly too.

Generally not the best of companies, but if your happy to wait for deliveries then there are some amazing bargains to be had here.

Can somebody explain to me why would people use their CC to pay for stuff and then complain about been overcharged or some other problem, etc...?

I always buy things through my per.acc. with them and never have any problems...

I'm not saying I am right and you are wrong - just curios why would you use the CC...?
#24
probably because when you open a personal account they do a credit search on you as they are actually offering you a credit facility. All searches are recorded and can affect other lenders desicions to give you credit. i personally always use my debit or credit card to pay when ordering.

On the subject of credit ratings - you can go through Quidco to check your rating and make yourself a £5 for doing it:

http://www.quidco.com/finance/other/credit-expert-uk/

Easy money - I only joined quidco in Jan and I'm up to £200 already!!
