I love Nandos so much.... here's a tip I picked up the last time I went:

1. Order a Savannah Dry cider (or on of the poorer quality beers if you are so inclined).
2. Ask for a glass.

Result: Woo hoo. You now have a lovely cider and a glass which is exactly the same as the unlimited soft drink glasses, allowing you to either donate the soft drink to a friend, or keep it to youself and go for extra-extra hot! (Don't forget to stamp your loyalty card too.)

Not been in to a Nando's yet. They all seem popular though but I just can't get myself past the door having glanced at the menu. Am I missing something here? I know they do spicy chicken, but if I fancy some chicken I just pop along to my local supermarket and buy one already roasted in a variety of flavours for £3.90 or sometimes a couple for £6....surely it can't be that much better at Nandos? I've heard people describe the menu as cheap and good value...but is it really? £10.50 for a 'whole chicken'....??? Hmmmm

I posted this about 2 months ago, and it never got past 50 degrees! And it appears to have disappeared now, what is going on?!

EDIT: OK, looks like it was expired, but the link is exactly the same, even though the voucher has been extended.

Just to update my eperience on this... went to Park Street, Bristol this evening and went to the counter to order where there appeared to be a notice with amended terms and conditions... most notably that this offer is now only valid Sunday-Thursday.

GIven that we had visited tonight (Saturday) it was clear that we would be no longer able to use the voucher. I questioned this with what appeared to be the manageress, an Asian lady, and was told in no uncertain terms that the new rules were rules, and largely due to "students having abused the offer in the week previous..." and we would not be able to use the voucher.

This lady claimed that since Monday, 10 Novmeber the voucher on the Itchy website says use is valid from Sunday-Thursday.

OK, fair enough, but considering that we had gone to Park Street purposely to take up the offer - and given that the voucher did not state that this offer was day-specific I asked if we could, perhaps, on this occaision use the voucher since it did not make reference to any particular days...

...the response was rather curt in so much that I was told "we are making this offer out of goodwill, and if we want to change the terms and conditions we will"...

How's that for customer service?

This lady was beyond rude and clearly gave no care if we stayed in her restaurant or not - so we didn't and hot footed it up to Wagamama and paid full price.

As it happens, the Bristol voucher on the Itchty website DOES NOT make reference to it being day specific, only the Cardiff voucher is day-specific - and I would suggest that this lady, and Nando's, get their facts right before refusing service to customers who are CLEARLY adhering to the presented terms and conditions.

Outrageous and discourteous behavious from Park Street Nando's who seem to think it perfectly acceptable to make up rules as they go along... I advise one and all to avoid this branch of Nando's if only for this Asian lady's rude and discourteous behaviour to customers... try Aspects or Cribbs instead, Nando's Park Street can rot...

I ENCOURAGE ALL HOTDEALS PERSONS TO AVOID NANDO'S PARK STREET BRISTOL - THEY'RE RUDE AS YOU LIKE AND CLEARLY HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT T&C's ARE OPERATING ONTHEIR OWN VOUCHER SCHEMES!

Why did you feel the need to point out she was Asian? Does it matter?

I used it on Friday 31st October in Cardiff Bay with no trouble. All I was asked to do was actually cut out the voucher rather than hand them the printed piece of paper :)

Because, if you read my post I cannot be certain that she was indeed the manageress, but given that she was so rude and abrupt I am trying to highlight the actual staff member for her incredible lack of customer service when the branch itself (and ultimately these staff) has unfairly moved the goalposts to suit themselves.

I dont know...but usually staff these days...dont have a clue about what offers are running as there are so many runnning...for exaple...zizzi ran 2 offers for this month..one from handbag.com and other from their own website....same terms but Nando's are famous for running their card stamp promotion which is pretty good if you were a regular but no good if wanted it to try first time....or even if you havent been there for long...I agree some staff are ignorant and have no idea they are talking about....and Nandos is not a place you would normally expect a 5 star service....just some hot food....so I would say go with that in your mind and you would be trumps...and even more so if you had 50% offer...(with a stamp ;))

I dont even get that......
