Instructions:I wish they had been doing this offer when I bought my son a PC just before Christmas. :-( Just make sure you follow the instructions below and check the box.

To avail of this offer all you need to do is select your desired system, add it to your shopping cart, then tick the "SAVE £95.00" offer in the Software and Peripherals Section once you have added your system to the shopping cart ! It's that simple!

Offer Ends Midnight Thursday 25th January 2007.

................. (Corrected)

It applies to every system on the outlet.
Don't forget you need to add VAT and delivery at £60 per system...and monitors are extra.

Wow...fast correction...faster than my response!!

i am a big fan of outlet, and have bought a lot from it in the past, but the deals dont seem to be what they used to be, coupled with Dell now selling off more and more on ebay themselves.

There are still some bargains to be had, but as someone else has pointed out, before you invest in an outlet system, check out what the system will cost on the main site, complete with the monitor of your choice, as there might be no advantage.

One thing to note about warranties, the Dell 1300 and 1501 can be bought on the main site with a 3 month warranty whereas on outlet, they are always 1 year on outlet, which could be a worthwhile enough saving in itself...

My outlet E520 arrived on Monday,
As above except Intel Dual Core and additional 250 Gb drive £373!

Posted report describing kit - all came "as new" with no sign of use or refurb.

Well pleased!

There are also some great machines if you want a basic system to which you want to add a video card, for instance:
2.8GHz D820 Pentium 4
1GB memory
80GB hard disk
CDRW/DVD combo drive
Modem (although who uses them these days?)
Total cost incl. delivery - £189.34!

These E520 machines are full sized, with PCI-E slots so you can easily stick in a second hand PCI-E 6600GT card for about £40 and you have a fantastic little machine for your kids for about £230.

You could add a 17" TFT monitor and bring the total price to £293.64, or pick up an old CRT monitor from work or the tip - companies like mine can't even give them away.

Don't forget there's also 5% cashback from Quidco if you're lucky (only seems to work about half the time for me) so you could get the cost down as low as £180.

This will come with a 1 year warranty and a fully licensed copy of XP Home. There's no way you could build something like this for yourself at these kinds of prices.
Go for it!

Its normally 5-10 days in the dell world... The refurb boxes often go into 'Production' for a while.. ;)
