Thanks CJ :)

If it's a draw (australia keep the ashes) is it still 20%?
#4
So when does this offer start exactly?
#5
has anybody had any problems using there account credit before? for example do you have to spend it on specific products or do you have to spend a certain amount before you're able to use the credit? or is this just a great deal?

No problem...sometimes u have to chase them before they'll give you the credit.
Don't need to spend on specific product.
There is no minimum before you can spend it.
I wouldn't call this a great deal but its good if you already have something in mind that you want from the site and have been holding back. Its basically a 20% credit back that you must spend within a month with a chance of it being 40% if England wins.

awesome

Another great code hun - thank you :).
#9
Excellent!!
#10
thanks for the low down slash
#11
When dos this expire? also who is winning (if it's not all over already), don't follow cricket.
#12
Lol I've looked up the Ashes and read the report of play plus some live commentry reports and I'm still no wiser.

Any experts like to share their wisdom as to who is likely to win?
#13
Looking more promising for a win... slightly tempted to go for this...
#14
same here....

England are in a very strong position. Check the bookmakers to get a sense of how well they are doing.

Thanks, from what I read the last days is Monday 24th, any reason not to wait until Monday to see who is leading then?
#18
I purchased a laptop only last week from them, before this promotion started. Am gutted as I could have got back nearly £80 in credit.

Do you think if I call them up and explain my situation, they'd offer me the credit as a good will? I could just return the laptop under distance selling regulations act, and then buy another to get this promotion!
#19
when does the offer end?

when does the offer end?

"The promotion will continue for the entire test and will end as soon as the match is over."
#21
basically go for it if they need 200 with 1 wicket to go and its a sunny day about dinner time :D
#22
England lead by 442 runs with 3 wickets left and the forecast for tomorrow is sunny.

There's a very good chance now the game will be over by Monday, Aussies now in for the final innings so could be all over by this time tomorrow
#24
They could decide to pull this overnight if the match is effectively over.......I'd order now (if I had any cash)

What about this Plasma?

http://www.cdiscount.co.uk/SoundVisionandSatNav/LCDandPlasmaTV/LCDandPlasmabyScreenSize/46andOver/f/1157/183470.html

£2300 for a 63" inch plasma - therefore £920 account credit :w00t:

somehow if england don't win you would still get £460 (20%)

England are 1.22 to win on betfair

"You can use all of these vouchers on a single purchase, or choose to spread them over a number of orders.

This offer excludes bundled items.

Account Credit vouchers are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, and can be used anywhere on cdiscount.co.uk to fund all, or part of an order. It is important to remember that your order total must be at least the same value as the voucher that you intend to use, and that no additional credit or change will be issued."

Is that not a contradiction? You can spread your vouchers out over several orders but your order must be at least the same value as the voucher?

Thinking about it maybe they give you loads of £10 vouchers or something? Rather than one voucher worth the amount they're gonna give you?

Either way, good if you're after something from there but prices seem to have gone up since I looked a few months ago.

It may just be referring to that if you place multiple orders that you’ll have multiple vouchers, one per order, and you can use multiple vouchers on one future order. I’m glad they allow you to stack multiple vouchers to pay for one order.

Just realised that all the 3 x easy payment options work out more expensive than paying outright. I assume they just can't add up and they'd actually charge the right amount. Watch out if you're using that method tho.

EDIT - Scrub that, I see they've introduced a 3% fee, how long has that been there?
#30
Will you still get account credit if you use the 3 payment option?

I don't see why not.

I just tested it and it accepted the code when using that payment method. Don't forget to take a screenshot just in case.

Thats great thank you, need to decide whether to get the 8gb or 16gb for dd.
#34
The way things have started this morning, you may need to get your orders in quick!

They have a Canon PowerShot SX200 IS for £270 with £40 Canon cash back available. After Quidco and the cash back it will cost £222 with an account credit of £108 if England win.
#36
I am ordering now and want to take a screen shot to show code excepted but when I put the code in it just says your discount has been taken into account doesn't show the discount code though so not really any point to taking a screen shot.
#37
Oh well I've placed it now fingers crossed lol.
#38
Ive also placed an order with the code. Although i done it via the 3 payment method. Hope it all works.

On usual occasions, how long is it before they credit the vouchers? Is it exactly 30 days after the deal finishes?
#39
Have done my order just after noon today as am going out this afternoon and knowing my luck would come back to see it all over ! My order was for £180 so 40% back will give me £72 to spend on future orders.

I am sure 3 payments option makes no difference but in the end I went for full payment upfront as I noticed they have started to do a 3% admin charge. Still good value but not as good as before.

If Aussies lose motivation it can all be over very quickly and then cdiscount will breathe a sigh of relief and be able to shut down the offer.

I remembered that you can upgrade to next day delivery for no extra. Orders placed before 4pm are delivered next working day.

I am guessing that means I will get a Tuesday delivery. No extra cost to normal delivery (£3.99).

Just re-enter the Code into the box before you take the screenshot; better than nothing.
