To get the discount, go to the Egg website and click on the reward page. That will then direct you to the Dixon website.

I wonder if the extra 5% will be a code... ?

Normal cahsback is only at 3% nowadays? I'm sure it used to be 10% at one time. There should be no code required. Just use your EGG card to make the purchase, and you'll see the instant cashback in your next statement. At least, that how it usually works ...

When the very first promotion came on, Egg had a 20% instant cash back offer. I remembered because I purchased a Nintendo Wii via the Egg website and paid with my Egg money card. It then went down to 10% and now it is getting less and less.

I thought we were not allowed this type of deal ?

You are allowed deals for discounts... which is why it is still here. If is was cashback only, then it would be removed.

Anyone know if you can use the HIGH5 5% code as well with this?

So 5% then another 5% then a possible 4% quidco then the 3% egg?
#8
cant see how you can get quidco if your going through the egg website?

If you go through quidco and use egg card will that work for egg discount?

Been thinking about doing the same thing.... 17% discount is not something to be frown upon...

Any free delivery codes lol!!!

You can get a DS lite with brain training game which works out at £95 delivered (excluding quidco). Not bad.

Or £83 delivered for DS on its own.

Ive read previously the egg site doesnt track links etc, so you can go via quidco and still get the egg reward... Never done this though, but definately read people getting this...

Not sure if this is going to work as the browser cookies the 2 sites set get over written by each other so only one cookie is ever set at the same time, tho I have seen people say they have got egg + quidco at same time which is odd...

I used a free delivery code earlier this week. I got it from here but can't find it now. It was something like "FREEDEL100" for free delivery on items over £100. Perhaps someone else remembers it? No good for DS but might be useful for others. I was able to combine the free del and the HIGH5 codes.

I have DEFO had both egg & quidco. No need to go through the Egg website, just use the CC to pay. (of course you DO go through quidco website to get to Dixons)
#16
Yeah I think people do Quidco and Egg rewards for CDWow all the time so can't see why the same wouldn't apply to Quidco and Egg discount for Dixons...I'm sure there's a thread on here somewhere about how to make sure you get both

**edit** found it: see post #3 in this thread http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?p=368328

basically go via quidco to dixons, then copy and paste the egg rewards link to dixons into the same browser page and pay using your egg money card

Does anyone know when the high5 5% discount ends at Dixons?

Going to wait and get a new TV on my egg card with this deal tomorrow but want to ensure the high5 will still work.

Don't forget that for the next 3 hours you can get up to 10% off instead of 5% with these vouchers:
#19
thanks WalterSmith & tuckeral will give all this a try tmrw buying my new tv, also wondering if HIGH5 will have a well timed end date and be expired tmrw tho...

My missus has banned me from spending money this month, otherwise I reckon mashing up these deals makes for one great saving.
Hot & well spotted

Arghh! This is frustrating. Sony and Panasonic are offering free 5 year warranty on their TV's at the moment. Problem is, you have to buy it instore at participating retailers. So, although I can get a very cheap TV using this, I still have to buy it from another shop coz I'm a security freak

Not So Good!!

Oh thats gay! :(

But presumably you'll be able to use the 5% code + 4% quidco + 3% instant cashback to give you a total of 12% off? Doesn't sound so bad..

Do you even need to go through the Egg website? It sounds like its a code to get the 5%, then just paying with your Egg card will give you the 3%.

I assume you can use either the normal Egg card or the Egg money card to get the instant cashback?

From the Egg website..

Cash back offers (valid from 1 September 2007)

1. Unless otherwise stated, the instant cash back from our selected online retailers will appear on your account as a credit to your Egg credit card at the same time as your transaction appears. The cash back will show as "INSTANT CASH BACK", which you can view in your online recent transactions and your statements. All offers are valid for Egg Card and Egg Money customers.

2. Unless otherwise stated, you will only be able to benefit from the instant cash back offers by placing your order via the links provided by Egg on Egg's website, or as accessible from the instant cash back offer e-mails we send you from time to time. Transactions with our selected online retailers which are completed via alternative links and URLs will not be eligible for the special cash back offers.

Ah, bummer!

Hopfully the trick mentioned in this link will work! http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/sho...d.php?p=368328

It will only allow you to use 1 code, the EGG34 or High5, shame you can't use them in conjunction.

There's a good offer on the Dixons site now as well, spend £399+ and you get a 2 for 1 offer for cinema tickets in 2008 at Vue cinemas.

There also doing buy now Pay 2008, annoying this deal wasn't on at the 70year anniversary offer last week, would have bought the Samsung 42" TV&DVD package i'm after.
