Sorry, forgot to add that the cost of a single 5-pack is £9.99 and delivery seems to be free to mainland UK.

Same here "The code you entered is not valid."

EDIT : Found out why now. You have to put 2 of the 5 packs in your basket and then apply the discount code. The header is slightly misleading.

If you do this it comes up as .....

Items in your order

2 of: LM-AF120LE5, £9.99 each

Total cost of your order

Items: £19.98
Discount: -£9.99
Postage & Packing: £0.00
Order Total: £9.99
(including £1.48 VAT)

Your order includes £9.99 voucher

Confirmed as working, I just got 4 packs for £19.98 delivered free. Plus if it tracks approx £1.00 Quidco.

Hot Deal !!!!!!!
Add 4 packs of the Ram Disks to your basket then apply the code JAN07DVD

Tracked at £2.00 based at 5% before the BOGOF discount was applied, so now it's a penny pinching super bargain. Unless you use hard drive to record?????:)

the code is still working.

Thanks SilverBandit

...and for the extra info kindly supplied by Searcher2 :)

No idea why this has been voted cold (voted HOT by me and it's still in negative territory!)

Have received my discs also voted hot :)

Good offer. Thanks.

I had my notification despatch email last Friday but have still not received them. Anyone else still waiting after a week? I have emailed them to find out if they are coming from outside the UK but have no response yet.

Did they not supply an online tracking code in that email?

However it might take another week yet

Premier... thanks for the info. I should have seen it. I have just checked and the status says 'Delivered'...which it hasn't been. Can't see any online tracking code.

"For order number 128xxx, placed on Wednesday 31 January 2007. Order status is Delivered. "

It may well have been sent but it certainly hasn't been delivered. Following the instructions I need to wait until Wednesday before I ring them. Cheers!

I don't like to gloat, but I ordered these on Thursday, were dispatched on Friday and they were delivered today by Parcel Force.

My order on the panasonic site still shows as 'in progress' and I haven't received any dispatch notification, just the original receipt of order email.

Searcher2, if you've not got your items yet, I would give panasonic a call and ask for a tracking code or proof of delivery - sounds like a neighbour may have taken them in for you and not told you about it.

Edit: delivered from Northampton

I have been given a tracking number from Panasonic - but it's ParcelForce and it when I put it in the tracking on ParcelForce's website it says it is not recognised!

I doubt a neighbour has it as I work from home so am generally in. I'll give it until Wednesday (when the 10 working days are up) and then start hassling.

I could do with them as my Panasonic ES20 has started freezing on playback of recordings on DVD-RAM and I don't know if it is the discs or a fault with the recorder (at the moment it has only happened in FR mode). New discs could help me rule out that as the issue.

That's really wierd with parcelforce

My delivery is now showing on the parcelforce site, and I can see the signature.

The parcelforce number is made up of 14 characters

It should be made up of 2 letters, 2 letters & 7 numbers, 3 numbers.
You may need to enter them into the site without any spaces (that's the way mine worked)

Yes - the parcelforce number panasonic gave me is in that format but when I put it in the ParcelForce website I get (without the spaces)

"We are currently unable to confirm that status of your parcel. Please check the number and try again. Please note that items sent over 4 months ago cannot be tracked online. If you are tracking a parcel sent from outside of the UK, we may not have received it yet. Please try again or use the help button below. "

I think it's lost!

I rang them today as I haven't received anything after 10 days waiting . I was told that the Parcelforce consignment has gone missing & they will phone tomorrow to tell me what is happening . These need a signature so if you haven't signed for them you can argue the toss with Panasonic if things get a bit sticky .

Ah... so it's not just me then. I know ParcelForce should pay up but it should be Panasonic chasing them up for compensation not me. I am still waiting for Panasonic to reply to my email saying that it doesn't seem to be able to be tracked. Now I know about your missing goods I may ring tomorrow and see what is going on. Thanks!
#21
Definitely Searcher2. PF will only compensate the sender (panasonic) not the (intended) recipient - that's stated in their website.

Your contract is with panasonic - they would have used Parcelforce 24 service if it was the same as they used with me. As the item clearly has not been delivered, and panasonic can see this themselves, it would be for them to claim compensation from PF.

In the meantime, Panasonic should be looking to ensure they comply with their contractual obligation towards you. :)

If I need to phone again tomorrow & they start giving me hassle over waiting till PF cough up then I'm going to be quoting the sale of goods act & contractual obligations that Panasonic have with me regarding discs that I have paid for & do not have ! I'm not in the slightest bit interested in what Parcelforce have done or need to do .

Just rung Panasonic. They confirmed a set of orders have gone missing and they only realised yesterday. The warehouse said they have despatched and ParcelForce said they never got them. Anyway - the lady said she would reissue the order and get them to me by the end of the week.
#24
I've had a new order issued via e-mail BUT it states 2 @ £19.99 total !!

I hope that they aren't going to try & charge me for it again .

Me too - but they haven't issued a credit for the first order so I assume the second order is going through uncharged.

I ordered mine on Friday night, and they came through yesterday! I wonder why you lot are having trouble?

Take a look at post #24 above ;-)

Just got my despatch email today (not sure why they had to send it twice though?) confirms they despatched the items today 14 Feb 2006.

Now I'm, sure I received them 2 days ago.

Anyway, item is now out of stock.

You'll never guess what just happened.

For a couple of days now I've been a bit worried since I too ordered on friday night. I hadn't received a dispatch email just the registration email and a thank you for your order email. The order status remained as 'In progress'

I kept thinking should I post on here and should I contact panasonic even though it hasn't been 10 working days. I thought I'd keep the faith and hang on a little longer.

I just logged in and was literally in the middle of posting on this thread and the doorbell rang. It was parcelforce! My order just this minute arrived! Is that a good omen or what?

I just checked the order status again and it still says 'In progress'. Still no dispatch email.

The service between payment and delivery leaves something to be desired but I've got my order and I'm happy. Thanks to the original poster.

Keep the faith guys.

Please be advised we are currently out of stock of the item you ordered LM-AF120LE5 x 2, so we will send you LM-AF120LE10 x 1 instead. This being 1 pack of 10 instead of 2 packs of 5. The price will remain the same.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Best regards,
The Panasonic Eshop Team

Just checked my account , order no1 which has never arrived is showing
" delivered " , order no2 , replacement , is showing " In Progress " .

Its now been 16 days since I ordered this , good job I'm not in a hurry for them
#31
If it's been 16 days then I suggest that you contact them pronto. I was getting a bit worried about my order and it wasn't anything like 16 days.

Their threshold of contacting in the event of non-receipt is 10 working days.

Good luck.

Same as me - second order showing 'In Progress'. So I just rang them as I was told my replacement order would be here by today and I was getting annoyed now. The lady said that since the discovery of the first problem that they had discovered a second problem... as they were having to double up on orders they had run out of stock. As a result they were sending out packs of 10 instead of 2 packs of 5. Orders were having to be gone through again putting in a 10 pack instead of the 2 5s and mine had been missed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was putting the order in again and requesting next day delivery so I should get it tomorrow. What a bunch of j***s. The reason I am waiting for them is because my Panasonic DVD recorder is producing recordings which freeze and jump and I want to know if it is the DVD-RAMs which have degraded or whether it is the recorder. And Panasonic's handling of the purple snake issue on their plasmas has been handled in an even worse fashion.... don't get me started.

I've received my replacements BUT I've been invoiced £23.98 according to their e-mail . I hope for their sakes they haven't charged me for these seeing as how my first order was cocked up by Parcelfarce .:x
#34
Well - I was told my replacement order could not be completed as they had run out of 5 packs so they would send out 1 10 pack. I collected a package today only to find out it was 2 x 5 packs!!! The replacement for the replacemt (for a 10 pack) is still 'In Progress'. Maybe I'll get 20... Maybe I'll get charged for 30! Who knows. Nothing has come off my credit card yet....only the £9.99 for the original order on the 31st Jan. I have no email of invoice.

Hello everyone.

This is just a bump to get some feedback from those who bought these.
When I format my DVD-RAM discs using the software I have I only get a maximum of 4.26 GB of free space. I was wondering if this was software specific or standard for all DVD-RAM discs.

How much free space do you get on an empty disc after formatting and which software are you using?

Thanks.
