#7

#8
Top draw, thx.

Hot for those with children! Does anyone know if the code Mail50 will work with a Network Railcard purchase also?
#10
Sorry i cant see anything on the link for the YHA am i missing something. The instructions above mention it also gives you YHA membership this alone would be a good saving. Could someone point me in the right direction please.
#11
Thanks!!!

It should be pointed out that last year, unlike previous years were this deal was open to everyone, only people who had previously applied for the free trial Family & Friends Railcard from the Daily Mail were able to purchase the half price annual Family & Friends Railcard.

In years gone by they used let anybody buy one on the half price deal regardless but last year the code would only work for people who's email address had already been registered when applying for the free trial card and it could quite likely be the same again this year.
#13
any idea how long the card takes to arrive?

Its here.

2 days. I bought one at 90% price and ordered on Thurs arrived on sat.

Of course you can't ordeer this one yet.
#17
If I remember correctly .... Adults need to be accompanied by at least 1 'child' to use the card.
#18
These cards are awesome, I bought one last year at half price with daily mail, but tbh i would of paid full price. Mine runs out on Aug 6th so this is brilliant to get this saving again. This card saves you loads and loads. Try it out on Trainline.com or some other site - compare the difference. We've saved probs about £150 min this year with this card. Super duper heat!
#19
Just bought one of these tonight for £20.80 (20% off) with code "LonMid20" offer ends 31/07/10.
#20
Great deal. got my free one and will be ordering 1/2 price one on the 5th!....will save the £13.00 on my first trip. Thanks for reminding me OP.

Once again I think it might be a case of "if your name's not down you're not coming in" with this deal. Basically if you didn't apply for the trial card a couple of months ago then you can forget it for this deal.

Still might be some decent offers to come though like a 1/3 off the annual card with the Youth Hostel Association which they ran last year.

Hi..

How it differs with Network rail card ? Is there any minimum fare involve for traveling off peak hors on weekdays ?
#23
i hope i can get one forgot to apply for free one
#24
Tomorrow, can't wait to get 1. We use one every year and it runs out end of July. HOT HOT HOT.
#25
Didn't work for me - hadn't applied for the free card.....
#26
Tried this code this morning but wouldn't let me use it. You already need to be registered. But the LonMid20 code worked for 20% off.
#27
Yep didnt work for me either. Must be previously registered for the half price code, as the offer says your details dont match the trial card promotion. Gutted!
The LonMid20 works for 20% off tho :)
#28
Gutted, "Thank you for applying for a Family & Friends Railcard. Unfortunately our system has not matched your data to our Trial Card Promotion." :x

My trial card runs out 18 th august, will the new one starts on the 19th August or am I loosing nearly 5 weeks if I apply today and it starts today? Would I be better off applying at the last minute of theoffer? Hopethat makes sense, can someone advise me?

You can specify the date you want it to begin on.
#31
does anyone know if they send any offers out if your yearly one runs out and you dont renew straight away as this didnt work for me
#32
didnt work for me either
#33
Ordered mine Monday & it came today :) Fab Offer
#34
hi, didn't work for me because i didn't get the two month freebie from Mail.

however, did use LonMid20 and managed to get 20% off, so thanks.
#35
Do you HAVE to travel with someone aged 5 to 15 to use this?

Is there an offer on a card without that restriction? My Young Persons Railcard has just run out so I was hoping I could get this as a replacement.
#36
what am I doing wrong? someone kindly replied to my query saying can say when I want card to start. But it says your card s not due for renewal yet, so they ll email me when it is, the thing is the date to use Mail50 discount will have passed, so what can I do?
#37
Thanks

Just use a different email address and apply as if applying for a new Family n Friends card. Leave the area blank when it asks if you are renewing a station purchased card. Hope this helps :)
