You can't do this anymore. An update now checks the phone ID so you need a new phone or a hack that changes it. Hiding it with root doesn't work.

Since when? Ive been doing it for months now.. last time was last weekend. :) Saved myself over £400 lol

Few months ago the update for me, when they changed their logo - make sure you don't update the app.

Just completed the ride and it had this promotion code but was charged full price. have emailed Uber about promotion code not taking effect.

Lets see what they come up with. Maybe its because i have used the same phone with different SIM's to get free ride.

​when you were using new sim cards to make new accounts what payment method did you use and was it the same for all your accounts
