Shame they aren't doing that for the Ixus 860 IS though, as that's the one I'm after!

Worth noting that the price of the camera, at £173.90 with free delivery, is also the best around by about £20. Hot deal rayman

Yes, it does seem too good to be true? I couldn't find any details about where they were based on the web site? Think I'd pay a bit more to get it from a company I know is based in the UK

They are in the USA and ship from there, They have a very poor customer satisfaction rating!
here is one review

"The website said the product would be posted within 24 - 48 hrs. I ordered the camera and after 8 days I emailed asking for the Fed Ex tracking number. I received an email saying that it would be despatched two days later. Sure enough I was able to watch its progress from Los Angeles to Memphis to Stanstead to Buckinghamshire and finally to my doorstep. An envelope was handed to me and when I opened it I had to pour out the crushed camera, shattered box and contents. To send a camera half way across the globe in a bubble-wrap envelope - takes my breathe away. The Guarantee with the camera is for USA & Canada only.
The £184.00 camera was described to FedEx as a Game - Gift - Value $25.00. The only response I have had since then is an email saying there is a full 12 months warranty and I am to ship the product back to California. I am asking for a full refund as I needed the camera a week ago - no further response from them and no contact phone number. My only hope now is to make a complaint via PayPal which may take 45 days.

Obviously the price (£184.00 for a Canon Ixus 850 IS) seemed like a bargain. It certainly doesn't "

Jessops Price at the time for the weekend was £229, I had a voucher for 10% off (JESSOPS10.. I think) which got the price down to £206.

Ordered this and used the 'Collect from Store' option, which gives you 7 days to pick the camera up from the local store you've chosen.

I then purchased £200 of Jessops vouchers for £170 :) from another forum... these arrived promptly..

Camera Purchased using the Vouchers + £6 cash :). Total cost to me £176. Camera had 1 dead pixel.... back to Jessops who swapped it out for a Brand new 'Perfecto' one straight away.

Well happy with the price and the camera.

(Jessops vouchers go cheap on the bay but you have to be real careful and check the seller out).
