Free Connection with Be Broadband (usually £24)

Instructions:Enter the promotional code FREE to get free connection.

I saw this as a banner advertisement with their £14 per month package however I think it works with their other packages aswell.

Remember the £14 has a 12 month contract period.
The £24 package has not got a contract period however if you wish to cancel, you have to tell them 3 months before. Immediate cancellation cost £50.

Anyone know when this finishes?
#2
I don't know, but if it does finish, you can always go through Quidco to get £24. It'll just take a month or two to come through.

Yeh I am 100% sure, I tried the code with all 3 packages and it says the code has expired.:-(

I'm trying to find the advert but it's not showing. I shouldn've taken a screen print. I'll keep trying.

This still seems to work last time I checked - NUMBER10 - for free installation.
Plus remember Quidco and refer a friend can be used (if you know somebody on be) for a total of three months free effectively!
Even without this BE is completely worth it.

NUMBER10 for FREE connection (£24/m package) is working

I got free connection with BE and I get speeds up to 1.55mb/s
I'm very pleased with this company :)

The problem with Be and other adsl providers is that you get great connection and download speeds if you are both in the "area" and close to the exchange, but the reality of it is that the majority will not get anywhere near the quoted possible speeds.

I had my line length measured by BT temselves and I am apparently 1.5K from my exchange (line length not straight line) and even then I could only get 5MB on a Be line at the maximum when Be were quoting up to 14MB. It also depends on a lot of other factors like the state of the wiring in your house, the state of the wiring up to the exchange and of course the twister pair in the exchange (I was getting 1.5MB until I had a major row with BT Wholesale and got them to change the twisted pair (which turned out to be faulty))

Be are a pretty good company, but as the song goes "Dont Believe The Hype", in regards to adsl if nothing else.

But BE is a ADSL 2 provider, different technology to the "other" providers

You know what I meant smart alec :)

ADSL2 still suffers from the same "distance" related problems that ADSL does.
#18
well I'm glad I can have that speed.....
#19
Not in my area:cry:

Looking to get a new supplier. Does anyone have any recommendations, I'm looking for speeds of plus 2Mb, usage about 5GB, UK Customer Services for about £15 - £18 per month. Don't mind a 12 month contract for a decent supplier.

Currently with ID Net and looking to save a little cash per month:thumbsup:

Google sam knows, pop your postcode in and it will list available providers in your area. (ADSL2)

#23
