I cannot proceed on your confusing web site to clain my free box.I have put in SMITHFREE but it doesn't proceed any further.Help please!
#2
the code is WHFREE and go to graze.com/whsmith
#3
How do I claim my free (whsmith) graze box?
#4
Didn't know until I entered my details that I would have to pay for additional boxes. I only wanted the free one to try it. I do not give out my bank details for free items so please cancel the order. I think this is an underhanded way of making money from people who are unemployed. On the the voucher it didnt state that there would be more deliveries and these would be charged for. A very underhanded way to make money. Please cancel my order, will not deal with you again.
#5
I DONT LIKE THE IDEA OF GIVING BANK DETAILS, i think this is a con....
#6
RIPOFF how can you justify in these times of fraudulent activities asking people to leave their bank details. The idea i assumed of this 'offer' was to try a free craze box and if one likes it then to order more as and when. How dare you ask for bank details. Stick your '''free''' offfer
#7
I gave details last year for some free items, (NOT from WH Smiths) never again the firm took over £400.00 from account, I agree it is a fraudulent way to con people from their money.

Think this a real let down and am disappointed at Smiths being involved with something that asks us to divulge our bank details when claiming something for ' free '.
#9
Glad i read posts before trying to get free box. I also would not give out my bank details for such an obvious scam.
#10
Yes, I wholeheartedly agree it is a takeon! I thought it was a free trial but obviously not. The price of the first so called 'free' box will be recouperated for the prices of the boxes that follow so it's not free at all just another sneaky sales technique lke many others which at present seem to be on the increase!! I'm putting my voucher in the shredder.:p
#11
This promotion offer is unfair and not described at all very well, a marketing ploy maybe to get details and sell the information on. Well no more Graze products for me you can keep them. Thank you totally brassed off with your company and its tactics.
#12
IF THIS IS FREE WHY DO YOU WANT BANK DETAILS OR IS IT A CON
#13
I too got a leaflet from WHSmith, telling me I could get a free graze box if I went on the website. Have tried unsuccessfully to apply, but started getting suspicious when my bank details were needed. This is very underhand of WHSmith, and I don't think I will be shopping with them again.
#14
I agree with everybody, this is just a con but sadly some people will give their bank details. I don't think much of W H Smith being associated with this scam.
#15
I WANT to try the Nibble box, but am not prepared to give my visa card details - why don't you be sincere? Also, why TWICE a week deliveries - I would happily pay £1.74 per week for a weekly delivery.
#16
This is not the first time I have felt disappointed in W H Smiths!
Very underhanded!
I hope this will now make many more people realise that W H Smiths is no longer a reputable company to deal with!
#17
I was about to claim my free graze box but decided to read comment,s glad i did sound,s like a con to me i do not give bank detail,s out if it is a free why do they want your bank detail,s i shall also not use W.H.SMITHS AGAIN either .
#18
I wholeheartedly agree with all the other people. Free should be Free and who in this day and age would give our their bank details!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get the offer right next time and maybe some people may then subscribe to further boxes. This was you have just hacked everyone off.
#19
I was going to go on the web site but got diverted here,i'm glad i did sounds like a right scam.
Lucky escape i think. Graze you have lost a lot of customers

That works too.

As for your above two comments, just post the code in the box.

At the top of the page:
"the first box is free including the delivery but any consecutive boxes will be charged"
As soon as you enter the voucher:
"thanks, this promotion code gives you your first box free and your next box half price"
The use of "cancel any time - no commitment ever" ALMOST EVERY STEP OF THE WAY implies this is an ongoing commitment until you tell them otherwise.

I DONT LIKE THE IDEA OF GIVING BANK DETAILS, i think this is a con....

You're signing up for a subscription. You think they will send you a free box without you proving you have the means to pay for the continued subscription? Or they want every tom dick or harry signing up, should the not require a card?

As above. It's 'Graze', and I would hardly call it fraudulent. Probably would call you dense though.

Again, not fraudulent. Not a con. It's a shame you got scammed - hope you involved the police in your totally fictitious story.

Gave you a free pass in the above comment for thinking WHSmiths are running this. They're not. 'Craze' are. In fact, you don't even need a voucher from 'Smiths, your first box is always free at Craze, whether you have a promo code or not.

I am also glad you remembered to read your own posts.

What the hell is a takeon? Is this like a takeaway?

So that you can pay for your subscription should you continue it...

As a result of this offer I will no longer be shopping at Tescos again.

You can have it seven times a week if you want. Or once a week. Or every time the moon has a new face. And £1.74 is the price of your second and third boxes. If you select one box a week, that's how much you will pay. For two weeks.

This is free. Give your bank details to a reputable company. Get your free box. Cancel. Or continue. Whatever. But that first box is free either way.

I don't see the problem with this deal, I've had them several times and never had any problems cancelling either free ones or paid ones.

Seems to me very clear on offer form that Valid Debi or Credit Card Required. Do people not Read!!
#26
congratulations i work in retail myself and if i would have come up with such a hair brained promotion scam (because that,s what it is) as this with such negative feed back which will obviously impact on your company i would have been sacked AND SO SHOULD YOU pathetic.
#27
What a con this all sounds- I was really interested until I read I had to give my bank details - how stupid do they think we all are? Another lost customer I'm afraid.
#28
Total ripoff. Public are quite rightly being told to be careful iwith bank details. Really fancied the product and would probably have signed up for a regular delivery but will never use graze or WH Smith again (big loss as have sent over £300 there in last three weeks alone).
#29
No.No.Don't touch it. If it wasn't a con why not explain on the leaflet about the bank details etc. Surprised with WH Smith.!!!
#30
im glad i read the reviews first i do not give out bank details to any willy nilly i thought it was a free graze box i was applying for so why do i need my bank details for something free big con not happy with wh smiths !!!!!!!!!!
2 Likes #31
I used this promotion with Quidco and the idea is you get your first box free and then you may cancel the service. So did I. Everything is clear on their site. If they try to get anything from my account, I'll just complain to my bank, that's it.
#32
my son has me buggin me to go on this site n order free graze box am lyk rest glad i read your comments i agree free shud mean free y need bank details robbin so n so's
#33
I was also going to try this but not now free should mean free
#34
Another scam. Disappointed with whsmith. It's not what your voucher says. I just wanted to try, decide and buy. It seems what you want is my card details, so NO thank you. Keep the box. Never again Whsmith. One fewer customer.
#35
I agree its a rip off come on whsmith get it sorted !!!
#36
I agree will not accept promo code WHFREE s per coupon looks like con to get discounted boxes.
#37
I agree with the other comments - why would I give my bank details to a company I know nothing about. Scam or not, no thanks!!!
#38
What a con. FREE should be free. Certainly will not be shopping at W.H.Smith again as obviously underhanded in there dealings with the public.

Hey guys, Clare from graze.com here.

Just wanted to try and help answer your questions. I'm afraid that we require that every grazer enters a payment card even if they only want their free box - this is a security measure and helps us prevent fraud. We use your card details as a unique identifier to check that you haven't used any other promotional codes with us, as this is the only thing that cannot be made up (unlike name, address etc.).

You can cancel at any point- straight after your free box if you want to - and if you want to get in touch with me directly to ask any questions please do on [email protected] as I’m not sure how often we’ll be able to check back here (we didn’t put the original post up).

I really hope this reassures you and you give us a go :)

its not free as coupon says because to get one free you will be sent another at half price you shouldnt advertise free when there is a hidden agenda dissapointed norma allen
