Instructions:As we've probably all seen, Amazon are offering free MP3 download credits against CD sales. Spend £15 get £3 credit, spend £10 get £2 credit, spend £5 get £1 credit. So, obviously split orders where necessary to get maximum credit.
But, Amazon are giving credit based on pre-VAT prices. This isn't mentioned in the T&Cs at all! See http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html/ref=amb_link_85446933_3?ie=UTF8&docId=1000360953&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=04NNAXSHHYD76VQMFTT7&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=477079393&pf_rd_i=324449031
Emailed Amazon and got no where. Spoke to them and the added the missing £1 credit.
They also said that they'd pass on the details straight away to the relevant team to get the T&Cs worded "more clearly", i.e. add "pre-VAT spend".
So, if you've bought CDs and got the wrong credit, you should be able to claim the extra up until orders placed now at least (and until they do fix their T&Cs).
The start date was 21st November, so there must be lots of purchases!
Won't make anyone a millionaire, but every penny counts!
