Thanks zipper :)

Good deal. Shame the price is so dear in the first place. A All-Zone Travelcard is ~£6 [for travel on the Piccadilly line], a saving of £22 over the standard return fare.

Its slow slow slow though. First class on a direct new train or the tube. Perfect for business folk and the like....

Also for those of you that are not aware and travel regular, if you travel first class on the gatwick express you get a security quick pass, which means if you are running late, you basically jump to the front of the passport control queue.... how's that!

should say that the first class upgrade is £7.50 one way,

I was on this train a couple of weeks back and some poor sod threw themselves under the train to commit suicide (successfully).

You never believe the noise it makes when that happens - I always imagined that it would be like running over a rabbit in the car....

Public transport costs in the London area are daylight bloody robbery - this is a good deal!!!

Can someone please kindly explain how to get this discount? I've tried booking for my return tix in August and they still quote the full price rates.

Did you click the use voucher button at the top of the page? I did and it worked for me (i.e. got discounted prices). Or, just put the code in (at the top of this page) the Promotion Code box on the HEx website.

Does anybody know if this deal is still active, or if another one has taken it's place? The code doesn't seem to be working anymore. :-(
