#2
Thanks, will come in handy in the coming months!!
#3
Thanks for this, will use it for a break away.

I think you can get 1000 points (£10) cashback via Pigsback.com (you have to post the receipt to claim the points).
#5
would have been a great offer, club room in manchester looks lovely but cannot accomodate our baby as health and safety says it is a room for 2 people. It would have been really useful and a nice change from a travelodge
#6
Try Holiday Inn Express. They can accomadate 4 (2 adults + 2 kids) in each room.
#7
Aren't they a bit basic? I really like the look of the club room and just trying to think of a way to get around it. The baby would be sleeping in travel cot, surely the room is big enough to accomodate this!
#8
Yes, Express rooms are basic. If you just need a place for the night, then they are OK (don't forget you get free breakfast at Express :-D ).
Might be worth calling Holiday Inn again just to clarify.
#9
I'm going to Basildon for the weekend - only 63 pounds 2 people 2 night - on the waterfront!

Thanks for the great tip! Heat n rep added!!!!
#10
Great deal...I was going to book one night in a holiday inn which was £68 for one night and now paying £79 for 2 nights....Bargain
#11
Great deal sorted! Got a crowne plaza club room with complimentary drinks, snacks and breakfast, for the same price as a premier travel inn! Thanks!
#12
heat and rep added - got myself a good deal. well happy.
#13

#14
I went online to book a room and they don't accept debit cards online.
Rang hotel and they said £49.00 per night (Equates to 2 for 1) then they adiced a cheaper rate was on offer £39.50 per night all in !!!!
So booked up

For future reference if you ever want to book a holiday inn with a debit card, you can go through ba.com instead - I did this last year and also found the rate was cheaper with ba

Thinking of a 4 night break.

Would it be possible to book 2 nights & 2 nights again and only pay for 2?
#17
Has anyone been in one latley the bar tarriffs are outrageous and dont try a barsnack u will need a bank loan lol
#18
Seems to be expired for me now, can anyone else check?
#19
Anyone?
#20
Still working for me.
In fact it does not seem to be restricted to July/August dates.
#21
Still can't get it.

Following the link, searching for Stoke on the 20th-22nd of July. Any room and hotel that comes up would be fine really. Chose the first, 2 adult room with breakfast is £67.40, choose it and goto View Estimated Total Price, and its charging me £134.80.
#22
I think you are being a little over confident.

When you choose dates you are given an "average price per night", not a total price.

I was fooled by this also.

I thought I was getting two nights in Leeds Plaza Deluxe for £62, but it was actually "average price per night of £62"
#23
Got it sorted now, was a problem with the cookies i think, average of 37 per night now :-D
#24
Their breakfasts and food are horrendously expensive usually,so give that a miss.Cheap room-eat elsewhere
#25
Free breakfast at Holiday Inn Express.
#26
Great offe! We stayed in a club room at Manchester airport, for less than a travel lodge, we had a luxury room, free eat as much as you want breakfast which was delicious and also access to the club lounge with complimentary alcoholic or soft drinks and snacks. There was also free access to the internet. Well worth it. Thanks!
#27
Done a search for a room, but not getting any positive results :x
Another deal can be found here www.holidayinn.co.uk/sunday
free breakfast & cheap rooms.
#28
hey thanks all, I just booked 2 nights in a Holiday Inn in Leeds in October for 60 quid. 1st night=60, 2nd night=free!!! thats two beds so half that cost will go to the lucky person who shares with me. Im going up for a gig and all the online prices were 60 per/night so saved me a few bob!!

WOOP!!!

(now if i can just do the same for a train ticket i'll be laughing!!)
#29
BTW.

if you get problems, clear cookies and stuff, or use MS-IE. I normally use Firefox but websites seem to be a bit fussy with it so i switched over to Internet Explorer and it worked fine!
#30
Many thanks for this, just booked a stay at Stoke on Trent Holiday Inn, £102 for 2 nights executive room - bargain!
#31
I thought the offer expired end of August.
#32
Cheers for this. Just got 2 nights in London for £80!

stayed at the crowne plaza in birmingham holliday street - what a dump - much worse than a travelodge except for room service - glad my company paid for it £90/night but usual rate is £199 (someone is having a laugh!)....plus the bargain £13/night carpark....the hotel room i had some minor upgrades that my 6 year old could have done a better job, chewing gum on the headboard is not the decor i expected from a 4 star hotel (lol!), decor from the 70's, tv from the same era, no plug sockets (lol!)...and the usual 4/5 star hotel overcharge.....etc.

why are hotels in this country so rubbish - go to the far east, esp. Thailand or Hong Kong then laugh at the joke 4/5 hotels in the uk...more 0.01 star (lol even more when you realise that the uk rubbish cost 5-10 times the hotels in the far east and they 100 times worse!!).

I thought the offer expired end of August.

I thought it had expired too but got this on their site:

Offer applicable for stays from 14 December 2007 to 15 February 2008. This offer is available on the Best Flexible Rate. When booking your hotel please select 2 nights' accommodation - your discount will be applied automatically.

Must have extended it. It doesn't seem to be from 14th December either as I've just got a two for one price on a room in November.
#35
thanks....just back fro, 2 nighs in edinburgh,100.00 for 2 nights instead of 1...going back again in nov even cheaper 95 quid!!! fab hotel pool lovely ,food amzing if you pre book breakfast you get it cheaper
#36
The rooms are coming up as around £50 per night, but when I click on the room, they are listing at double that, i.e. no offer???

It seems as though they're including the discount into the nightly cost, as when I checked for a single night, the same branch would be double the price.

My friend really needs to book a hotel for a few weeks time for his gf's birthday but only can stay for 1 night but it would be a shame to waste a whole night whichever way you look at it.
