ignore folks, the company has said numerous times they will honour all codes, they want the new customers, essecially with how things are,if u pay by card you will have the full amount taken from your card, but upon delivery the discount will be debited back to the card.
#6
used similar code before Xmas to get DS for kids
no problems, delivery when stated & DON'T FORGET
QUIDCO!

I have used practically every voucher that has come up in the last 3 years (and more than once most of the time), even the £50 and I have NEVER, EVER had them come back to me
#8
did it work - Did u get your money back?

I really want to get a new ds or a wi ft for this price, but i know that the company are linked to Littlewoods and i can remember when there was a big deal over them not honouring a discount code or something.

I dont want to use the code and then have them come back to me and say that as the code was not meant for me, they will not honour it. How do people get these codes anyway?
#9
just use it paul,if the ycharge you, which they wont.
they do say u are allowed to return it for full refund.

but they will honour it,every company needs ever ycustomer they can get there hands on at moment

3 interest free payments on everything.
i with all of them littlewoods, additions, empire, marshal ward,i use the same code on all 3 everytime, girlfriend does too,
i found in alot of cases its cheaper from catalogue
#10
i just tried this code on my additionsdirect account, got it through the post a few months ago, but code isnt working.
when i called to place my order they said there wouldnt be any stock for 8-9 weeks even though online it says its in stock for 14 day delivery.
Any ideas how i can still get this offer?
#11
thnks for the reply. im gonna do it.

thanks for the original poster for making me aware of this code.
#12
Great one. Thanx!!!!

Colleague is off ordering his wii fit as I type, happy as larry, and aware of the possibility of it coming back. Its a gamble but for a wii fit for 40 ish quid, a fair one. Hot from me!

No worries ordered Mario Kart and Brain Academy early last week with the voucher, received the Mario Kart on Monday and Brain Training today
#14
Just signed up to marshall ward and used the voucher! thanks for the idea!

You can also use this code on any of their partner sites - Additions direct, great universal, Littlewoods, Littlewoods Direct, Kays and Empire Stores.

So if you can't make your mind up what to buy, just open another account with one of the other catalogues and use the code again :-D

There are other similar codes on HUKD, you just need to search through the different catalogue names. This code has aready been posted twice, I think - just under one of the other catalogue names

Just used this on an order of 3 Canon A570 cameras which were already an awesome deal of £50 each. Brought them down to £40 each. Got 3 cameras for less than I paid for 1 18 months ago

Says they will "pass my order to credit team and get back to me". Is that standard?

They will probably decline your order then, I'm afraid as it sounds as though they don't want to give you an account with them - I expect you will get a letter in the post in a few days

People really need to stop posting these voucher codes as they are account specific. Yes, the code will most likely go through on checkout and you can ring through and speak to a clueless customer services rep who will tell you everything is fine however that won't stop them taking back their money down the line.

It has happened all too many times and regardless of how much in the wrong these companies are, it is CLEARLY stated in their terms and conditions that if vouchers are used that were not sent to you then they can claim back the discount applied to your order.

I have an account with Littlewoods that i have held for 7 years. I used one of these codes posted on this website a while back (the £50 of £100 spend) to buy a Wii. Everything went through fine, order came, correct money (including the voucher discount) taken.

Last month i receive a phone call from Littlewoods saying that on a previous order placed i used a voucher that wasnt valid for my account and that they will be placing a £50 debit on my credit account. To cut a long story short, i explained the situation with the code and as a gesture of good will they let it go.

If you havent been sent this code either via email or mail or told on the telephone that you are entitled to use it i suggest you dont - simple.

Voted STONE COLD...reason above.

if its a first order discount its usually avail to anyone as long as they meet the terms thats wht they do where my mil works she said as long as min ammount is spent and it is really a genuine 1st order its not to wory about !
#21
There must just be an unlucky few. I too have ordered on loads of occasions with these codes and never had a single comeback.
#22
I did say to everyone to please not order with the codes but then someone said to ignore me, well yes the codes are brilliant for most people but not everyone can afford to pay up £30 down the line.

Just ordered Gears of War 2 and Xbox Live 12 month card for £41 delivered. Not bad

just need them to give me my £30 back :)
#24
usually their prices r very high as compare to other retailers.
#25
I ordered an Xbox live membership, a talking Mr. Rude, a duvet cover, sheets and some Bench pillows, all for £30.

Which when you think an Xbox live membership retails for near £40 on it's own, isn't bad. I've enever had any comeback from using codes. I guess it may happen with specific deals, that are intended for a specific customer group or enable you to get a particualr item stupidly cheap and sundenly their stock of that item vanishes. But I've never had it. The whole point of these offers is to attract new customers, which is whats happend.
#26
anyone know where the t&c's/voucher requirements are for this code?

ACTUAL MONEY OF CODES ARE LEGAL AND VALID FOR NEW CUSTOMERS,SOME CODES LET U USE THEM IF U ARE NOT NEW,
I ALWAYS USE THE %DISCOUNT CODES BEEN WITH THEM FOR AGES,I EVEN RANG UP ONCE COMPLAINED ABOUT ME NEVER GETTING CODES,BUT I SEE LOADS ONLINE,SHE SAID JUST USE THEM,IF IT ACCEPTS IT YOU CAN USE IT,IF THE COMPANY TRIES TO CLAIM IT BACK THEY CANNOT SUE TO THE FACT THE SYSTEM SHOULD HAVE DECLINED IN 1ST PLACE,
AS I SAID BEFORE THEY WILL HONOR AL CODES AS ALL COMPANYS ARE GRATEFULL FOR ALL THE BUSINESS THEY CAN GET IN HARD TIMES,THE DISCOUNTS ONLY BRING THE PRICE INLINE OR A BIT LESS THAN RETAIL,THEY STILL MAKE A FORTUNE FORM THE SALE.

Anyone still managing to use this?
I tried it before and it appeared to work a few days ago, though I didnt put the order through I just wanted to see if it worked. Now its saying:
"Sorry, this promotion code cannot be applied to your order."

:(

i used this on choice and it worked a treat

Beware after using the code last night, I placed an order successfully for £70.84.

I received confirmation from Marshall Ward this morning on my order for "£100.84".?!!!!!!

They had ignored the code and changed my order value to £100.84 , which is fraud.

I have sent an e-mail complaining about their fraudulent behaviour and if they do not honour the £70.84 order then take my e-mail as written confirmation of my cancellation.

I also said that if the order is not full filled to my satisfaction that I will cancel the credit card payment and inform Trading Standards of their Fraudulent policy of changing the order value after their confirmation.

I should have listened to the poor record of honouring codes, so be warned, stay well away unless you want grief.

They normally charge the full amount then credit the discount back after..oh and you can hardly accuse them of fraud when thats exactly what you have done if you read there T&Cs relating to use of codes :whistling:

"2.3 Where you have redeemed a promotional code or any other offer ("a Code") against your order, acceptance of this order is subject to our verifying that the Code has been issued to you personally, that you comply with all the terms of the offer and qualify for the Code. In the event that the Code has not been issued to you for your personal use or you do not qualify for the offer, the price of the order will be adjusted notwithstanding any email or other confirmation that you receive."

They are not taking money without authorisation though as it tells you they will if the code was not issued to personally. Therefore when you accept the T&C's (which you have to do to place an order) you are accepting responsibility for using the code and its conditions.

Simple rule is, dont use a code that hasn't been issued to you personally unless you can afford the risk and dont mind paying the full cost price at a later date.

Just worked for me at marshall ward. will have to wait and see if they do a claim back further down the line as pretty sure ive used them before, however think i used a different email.

This code doesn't seem to be working any more, but what Marshall Ward have just told me is that within 7 days after receiving the goods if you decide you want to keep them then just ring up and quote the code and they'll take the £30 off.
#38
littlewood direct, additions direct marshall ward and empire store the same right? ive made my purchase on addition though littlewood driect sent me a letter with a code. Can i still use that w/o them charging me?
#39
I used a similar offer from Littlewoods to buy a wii, they first email to confirm your order is accepted or declined, the initial email showed with the £30 discount, the follow up confirmation did not show this nor did it show on my littlewoods account - however the £30 was credited back to my card after the full amount was taken.

My wii also arrived 4 days earlier than the 2 weeks estimate, almost 1 month gone and no problems with them, although they did phone me to try and sell me added insurance.
