I went to Camelot last week and im sorry to say its not as good as i remember. It seemed much smaller than i remember and they have took quite a few rides out since i last went. I Did enjoy the joust show though.

This video sums up Camelot now:

They took out Tower of Terror and replaced with the Gauntlet and now Knightmare (which came from a theme park in Japan).

Here is footage of the Tower of Terror and you can see Excalibur in the distance which shows the Tower of Terror ride sitting on where the 2 rides are now.

Tower of Terror was my favourite.

The Rack is no longer there:
The Beast (indoor roller coaster) has gone.
The Gauntlet has gone:
Sorry about the late reply. As I was saying they're available through CSSC (Civil Service Sports & Social Club) which is exclusive to certain work places - but not just restricted to civil servants - despite the title.

Check this deal I posted here for the many benefits of CSSC. The other week they were doing a £5 return coach from Liverpool to Alton Towers which was fantastic value. Also 2D cinema tickets for all major chains are regularly £4 - £4.50.

Post #6 in the thread lists all work places that CSSC is open to.

Not bad. I've just seen an offer for £10 through CSSC.

Twenty years since I last went to Camelot. It was known as "Cam-e-bit" back in those days but I hear they've built it up a lot since then.

You gotta link? Still haven't gone yet.
