  Yeah, their customer service in the past hasn't filled everyone with confidence I'm afraid, even with a good price. Heard on one site that allegedly it got so bad they had to get rid of the MD and get some new guy in to try to sort things out. Unfortunately, last time I bothered to compare they weren't that hot on price either. So unless a die-hard OCUK fan, worth being a bit savy and shopping around first.

  I think their pricing is great, and added 6% off makes this offer one of the best at the minute in the IT business.

  Hmmm I'm not so sure they are so competitve on price.I used to use Overclockers allot but I've just compared their prices for some laptop memory.

  The other big players, like Scan and ebuyer, dion't carry the same inventory for items I was after. And the components that were listed on all sites worked out cheaper once the 6% code was applied.
  
  Having free shipping with different etailors helps too. So get registered on the different forums.

  Have they changed their MD then? Their forums are filled with racist filth, mostly instigated by the company's owner himself. Its a pity because the level of techy knowledge on the forums is second to none, but it's over shadowed by the racist culture elsewhere on the forums. Last time i went on the forums they wont let you use them for support, which is strange, because they are openly affiliated with the OCUK company and the logo.

  I live just around the corner from their warehouse and I have to agree that their CS is really, really dire..so bad that there have been many 'anti-OCUK' websites. All of these websites were taken down because OCUK got their lawyers involved.

  Wow, I haven't ordered anything from OCUK for a couple of years now and I had no idea about their bad reputation on the net. Especially the part about racist comments in the forums, that's very disturbing.
  
  All I'll say is that I used them a lot during my uni days and found them to be pretty competitive and fast on delivery, no problems overall. Not so sure I would use them again after reading these comments though.
  Just my 2 cents.

  The last time I had to deal with these guys, I had a terrible time. Unless they have turned things around, stopped using City Link for delivery and take <1 month to process RMAs then I'll probably never deal with them again. What made it worse was any mention of problems with their service and they'd permaban you on the spot and delete the thread!

  For people who have hated Ocuk in the post, should give them another chance, They have had from what ive seen a complete turn arround from the old.
  
  They have a new tech team, new guys doing RMAs, most important a new MD, who is trying his best for Ocuk and its working, Any problems you have, will help you with 100% and he does care.
  
  So dont confuse ocuk with the old, but it is up to you if you shop or not.
  This is not a kiss **** for ocuk, I have my own reasons not to be, but just an honest opinion.
  
  As for racist coments on the forums, im pretty sure its just users that post them, end of the day it is an open forum, I cant imagine employed people from the shop have much to do with it.

  Sorry, but their forums are closely managed by OCUK. The mods have no interest in curbing the blatant hatred,ignorance and racism that is rife on their forums.
  
  I stopped taking an active involvement due to this and it's not changed recently either. As mentioned here already, their prices aren't that competitive anyway so not sure why you'd want to buy from them!

  They have a great sale on at the mo. I bought 2x Asus 3850's for £76 delivered. They have 8800gt's and 8800gts 640MB on sale too. They won't be there long.
