When submitting deals for any retailer, please remember to attach any applicable voucher codes near the bottom of the form. If you're posting any cdiscount deals this weekend, remember this one. :)

Just a couple of questions:

Does this include items that are paid for with account credit from previous deals or must this be a pre cash transaction?

Can this code be used with other codes?

Thanks

Cool. Now all we needs a flash sale on the site and we are all smiles. Nice offer

LOL. They have started add £20 on to the prices of things around £100. What a rip off!

Here's an example
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/371817/canon-all-in-one-mp630-best-price-1/

Up from 109 to 115 last night and now £135! in less than 30 minures since my last post!

Last night it was £105. Then it went to £115 today.

It was ten £115 about ten minutes before the announcement of the £20 cash back. Then the price went up £20. Don't get scammed.

How come cdiscount is a user on here anyway?

Several merchants have accounts on here to address any customer service issues that may arise in the forum, and to clarify any discrepancies.

I would expect cdiscount is allowed to be posting as he/she is on here because HUKD will be receiving referral credit for all sales poassed through, and with some of their deals being good, the promotion of them on here would earn the HUKD owners a large sum of money.

i guess everyone has their price.

If you read the context, it was clarifying a point in a deal which a member had queried...
#14
Does credit account mean they will deposit the £20 for your next order?
#15
Lets agree to differ. Reads like a self promoting marketing sales pitch to me, in context or not, and it doesn't change the fact that they put prices up straight after announcing "cash back" (oh they got pulled on that "cash back" ploy already...) er credit back. Nor does it change they fact that they are self promoting from my point of view by directly offering a HOTKDEALS. But we can differ on that too :)

Don't cdiscount have their own website for "customer services"? Next it will be the other 2000 odd quidco partners (but that's anther story :whistling: ) with their "customer services" clarifying their sales and marketing promotions.

15 "sales" on the site this in the last 4 weeks and now a special HOTUKDEALS code.

Yes this voucher can be used with account credit vouchers and other codes.

Can anyone clarify this? For example if my order is for £100 and I use £40 of vouchers, my card would be charged £60. Do i still qualify for £20 cashback?
#17
Hi. Does this work if you use the pay in 3 monthly installments. There is something i want for £470 so i should get 4x£20 back. £80 total credit back, right?

Hi, we've received confirmation that you'll qualify.

I am looking at purchasing an item for over £300 so £60 cash back.

If I purchase the item aswell as something else that is £60, is the 2nd item taken from the cash back?

So it cost me nothing extra.

Or does the £60 go into my account and would have to spend it in a separate transaction?

I would rather buy the 2 items in the same transaction to save on postage.

Thanks
Matt

Matt,
The deal states that you will get the cashback as a credit to your account by Easter Weekend. It shows up as a code in your Cdiscount in box, which you quote when you make your next purchase. (but it only lasts 30 days) You cannot get the discount off the order you are putting in this time.

It is a very good offer. I have a large cashback put in my account from last month when they did the 'VAT back' offer, I will spend it tomorrow, and even get £20 per £100 that I spend of the cashback, making the original VAT back offer even better!

CDiscount customer services are very good. The cashback should have been in my account by the 31st March. When it wasn't I fired off an -mail query and they telephoned me on my mobile to apologise and discuss how they could put it right.

Yep. If you spend an extra £30, it means you get £100 credit instead of £80. ;)
#27
good deal all round I think
#28
Let's just say you've used the 3-pay system on a £470 product, therefore qualifying for £80 cashback. Can you use this £80 cashback against the 2 future payments?

Account credit can be spent on a new order. It cannot be used as part payment for an already existing 3*payment order.
