love subway thanks

welcome to hukd

A good deal but a bit annoying that you have to print off and present a voucher. Do they keep the voucher when you show it? I'm one of those tight b@$tards who like to save on their inkjet printer ink!
#3
Great deal thanks will try this today. Printing off the voucher isn't a hardship. Some people will moan at anything!

well if i plan to make use of this offer everyday from the 19th - 26th, then yes it is a bit annoying to print off the voucher everytime. However if they let me keep the voucher for next time after showing them it, then it makes it easier.

helps if your printer works. gutted now, i love subway.

Have you got a memory stick?
if you have, then copy the voucher onto it and take it with you to the shop.
Explain your printer has packed up, but you've got the voucher on the stick.
If they've got a heart they'll just say that's ok and give you your freebie :)

I'm not quite sure the people who work at my local subway are kind enough for the USB stick explanation:roll: lol, best show them the paper:thumbsup:

#11
Do you think they'll accept black and white copies or copied vouchers?

It actually says Photocopies not Accepted
#13
Why make it an A4 voucher ffs?! not very enviromentally sound, but then again I suppose it'll get printed on a4 in most cases.

Good deal, voted hot

Yep, just seen that when I printed it off. Don't have a colour printer at work so no subs for me

I'll be printing mine 2 to a page, might even try 4 to a page to save on ink/paper and to of course help the environment....

My local Subway had a host of offers - been running for 3 months now. Pick up about a 100 vouchers from their store. Use them all the time.

2 for 1 and also a Free 6" with any Med drink etc etc.

here's a link to a .pdf i've created with 2 vouchers per page (http://www.mediafire.com/?mzyj5dcz31m) & 4 per page (http://www.mediafire.com/?nozge3rzlgn) can't see there being a problem with them accepting these tbh unless you get some jobsworth serving you....

Thanks sent to the wife for her lunch.

I think black and white copies will not be an issue, just make sure that the terms and conditions can read be clearly..

You might get away with snapping a pic of the deal with your phone and give them a sob story about no printer perhaps?

Personally, I have an A3 colour laser printer sitting here waiting to be abused :)

I wouldn't give them a penny personally; check out how they treat their workers:

Subway Sack Young Pregnant Migrant Worker

By signing this petition I support the call for Subway to:-
• immediately reinstate the pregnant worker,
• reimburse her for loss of earnings,
• compensate her for the injury to feelings,
• treat all workers fairly.

Natalia Szymanska, a 19-year old Polish woman was sacked from Subway in Belfast in her fifth month of pregnancy on a dubious charge of being in breach of the company’s health and safety policy.

Subway’s Reason for Dismissing Natalia

Extract from the letter dismissing Natalia signed by the Managing Director Subway:

‘The following Health and Safety regulation was blatantly disregarded:

‘The only personnel allowed to be on the premises are those members of staff that are on duty and clocked in to do the opening and closing duties. (…) No unauthorised members of staff, friends or family members are to be on the premises.’

I listened to your explanations at the hearing but you failed to provide any mitigating circumstances and I have to take into account the fact that you are employed in a position of trust and responsibility. There is no doubt that Andrzej [Natalia’s partner, also Subway’s supervisor] was present in store without authorisation as this was shown on our CCTV, you therefore disregarded the Health and Safety regulations and as such we have lost trust and confidence in you in your position of Supervisor. As a consequence therefore, I have decided that your employment should be terminated.’

It is Natalia’s representative’s view that the appeal conducted by the Financial Director of Subway was not fair as it did not address the central point of Natalia’s case, i.e. that senior management previously accepted that Natalia’s partner, who was also a Subway employee, regularly came to the shop as she was pregnant.

One month after she informed the employer that she was pregnant Natalia was sacked.

How much is it for a 6 inch? (not sub of the day)
#32
I've never quite understood why these things say "photocopies not accepted". How are they meant to know whether you photocopied it or printed it?

Just read this as I'm eating my subway for lunch. Damn. Next week I'll be making use of it. voted hot.
#35
Bargain... i'll have that later :D
banned#36
Depends. The chicken and stuffing one is most expensive at £3.69 for 6 inch. It's another 2 quid for 12 inches whatever you go for.
#37
ok well im getting one later today... or should i say 2 :p
#38
Be good to hear if anyone has successfully used the A4 or smaller in black n white
#39
I am sure she is taking this to a employment tribunal where the full facts will be discussed. It is hard to judge when you only hear one side of the story.
