  Used some of these codes and they were accepted with my order but when my order arrived the money wasnt deducted.
  Emailed Tesco and they said its because the codes were not emailed to me :(

  Rubbish the codes are on their price news and available to all in stores also will be included with television mag in Saturdays newspapers, ring Tesco again and ask for refund and you should get double discount it is their fault again.
  
  These Tesco codes were not emailed to anyone. Let me know how you get on. Tesco staff do not know what they are doing.

  This is 3rd time in the last few months I have had to email

  I agree with cogat, when these codes come out a few weeks ago, they were accepted online and deducted from my shopping but when my shopping arrived they were taken off, when i queried it they say the codes werent for me - now you would think the computer would recognise straight away that they werent your codes, so do proceed with caution especially if you are buying things you wouldnt normally because of the discount.

  You get the price news magazine through the door, by email or by simply picking one up in store. How can the codes be specific to an account? Tesco are yanking your chain and you guys are taking it. I'd get back on the phone and set them straight.

  To be fair to Tesco I did email them and then they ask for proof of codes, so I just copy and paste the revelant codes from here, then they said they will refund the money. But this keeps happening time and time again to me :|

  my on-line shop accepted the codes. I would argue the fact that the codes are freely available on the leaflet in-store so they are NOT customer specific. They are pretty useless with codes as I use the same £10 / £15 off for new customers codes on every shop I do (having 11 accounts helps as I get sent big discount codes practically every week in the mail) ;)

  Most of these items are same or cheaper at Asda even after applying the discount codes
