Total Fitness Annual Membership £295 (£24.58pm) No joining fee

Instructions:Just had an email to say that if you sign up online for Total Fitness Gyms you only pay £295 for a year which works out at only £24.58 for each month. There is no joining fee.

To get this deal enter promo code : MADDEAL

Obviously as you pay up front you won't get anything back if you decide you don't want to go after a couple of months but if you do then this is a steal IMHO. However, I'll repeat, only go for this if you know you'll use the gym.

Might also be an idea to pay on Credit Card in case anything happens to the company in the next 12 months.

Price is usually about £45pm off the top of my head and £450 for a year. Most Total Fitness have a couple of pools and a hydrotherapy area with spa/sauna/steamroom included in the price. Plus you can use any of their gyms.

I pay just over £50 per month at Esporta so good deal if in your area

TF are guilty of over promotion, with tonnes of direct mail, emails and text messages if you so much as give them a flicker of interest, and are slow to withdraw it when you tell them to stop. Bare that in mind if you enquire/join and remember to withhold your mobile number.

I got a few calls when I first enquired about joining but since leaving (gym was very good but too far away) I've only had one letter and one email (to a disposable address ) in 6 months.

I only entered a comp to win membership and was rewarded with a promotional text every 2-3 days for weeks. Requests direct to the gym to STOP went ignored. I tracked down the company that do the texts for them and got them to stop them at source. Got apologies from TF head office and the text company.

These people weren't taking no for an answer until I took it as far as possible.
