Instructions:Just been into my local Woolworths store to buy a few bits with one of the friends and family vouchers. I spoke to the manager and he said that the offer had now been extended until Sunday 30th November. Forgot to ask if Nationwide but think it must be. Anyway, good to get an extra weekend out of it!

How do you find out the "agreed colleague discount"??
#2
There is further information on this offer including printable voucher - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/discount-voucher-codes
#3
The discount IS 20% I also got the `mse` email. It says they have permission from woolies to share it with you :)

It will entitle you to 10% off music, DVD's games hardware (including consoles!) and software, mobile and accessories, electricals, electronic instruments and sat navs and 20% off everything else in store including books.

Just print out your voucher and use it in store before Sunday 30 November :santa:

Its a sad day so many jobs at risk and one of the oldest stores may close its been running nearly a century

wow really, thats comet,currys,dixons right?

I went to woolies today, shop had medium amount of people. No offer on in mine dvd, cds, games still full price. no 20% took off at the till either. I didnt take my 20% off voucher. So you DO have to take the print out, i read someone said they got 20% automatically deducted :)

oh and the voucher IS blurry, thats how it came from another website ::?
#19
Can't say that I will miss Dixon's, Curry's, PC world (not Comet) too much.

Probably the worst chain of shops for customer service on planet Earth.

in the interests of accessibility, can we all use black please...some of us are hard of sight and using anything other than black makes it difficult to follow all the comments on the posts.

Board moderators can you take out the lighter colours please?

I shall be raising this with the moderators as it is a form of discrimination against partially sighted people and subject toa fine from the European Court of Human Rights.

To say to a partially sighted person that they shouldn't read something is outrageous!

As as website designer I would agree with you JezzaP, however there is no law that a site must be accessible, only guidelines. Check out guideline 2 - http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG10/wai-pageauth.html#gl-color

All the companies which run on these models are vulnerable and could go under:-
1) Any company where they don't have the freehold of their shop and having to pay huge rents to landlord
2) Their gearing is so high that they depend on high turnover of business just to make a profit as well as to service their interests on the loans to the banks
3) Those companies who supply goods to their shops which fail.

All in all, they now know again that the best business model for stability is to owe no debt and to own freehold of the shop and it is usual to weather most big downturn in business activity as you don't have to pay rent and bank interests.

What next !! lol,

I'm not saying do not read it!. im saying if you do not like the colour of my writing then dont read it it will not harm you nor me.My posts are not important to you nor anyone else for that matter so if you or anyone else dislikes my colour just dont read it. there is no reason to point out in a rude way by anyone that they dont like it ,just dont read it !

And by the way ,it is against my human rights to take away my freedom of choice as there is a choice of colours im within my right to use them

And id like to point out that this post is about a voucher for woolworths not my posts so there is no reason to come and read about a voucher and complain about the colour of my writing as that has nothing to do with woolworths lol

#32
is it worth it?
#33

My hand is up:thumbsup:, but at xmas i do go to the shops, but find the best deal on line first (as i hate p&p)

I just feel so sad that so many people will be left without a job not just the company staff but the people who supply them and other companies that work for them esp at xmas

(but the colour of my writing took precedent over that :whistling: and a voucher :whistling:)
