All I got was this message
Sorry, but we have been unable to approve your application for a Woolworths account.If you would like more information about our decision please contact us on 0844 811 1218.
That was before I put the code in It wont even give me the option to pay instead of a credit account :(

Mind you I did a few weeks ago open an account with Very in my husbands name with a £30 off of "£60 and I got a phone call from them saying I already have an account so they would cancel the order and not except anymore codes from me I said ok. Nothing else happened so maybe this is the problem lol

They reserve the right to reverse the refund later (ie: 3month after the purchase you might get a letter demanding the money back).

Terms:
2.3 Promotional codes are codes that enable customers to obtain benefits such as discounts, free delivery and free gifts. These codes are non-transferable so may only be used by the person to whom they are issued and must only be used in accordance with their terms and conditions of use. If you use a promotional code to claim a promotional benefit, you must first check that it was issued to you and that you are eligible to use it. By using it to claim a promotional benefit you will be confirming that:-

(i) you are entitled to use the code;
(ii) you meet all the conditions that apply to its use;
(iii) you agree to the terms set out below.

If, before accepting your order, we find that you are not entitled to use the code or do not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reject your order or alternatively process it without the promotional benefit being applied. If, after accepting your order, we find that you were not entitled to use the code or did not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reverse the benefit that you obtained. If you transacted on a cash basis e.g. by debit or credit card, we may take a further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained, from the card used. If you transacted on a credit basis, the value of the benefit obtained may be charged to your credit account.

all online shops have terms and conditions for the use of promotional codes
ask yourself if you qualified.
Are you a new customer spending £60 to use the £30 off code?. If yes then no problem.

Depends, if the code is publicised on the front of their website, to every one - sure.

If it is from a mailshot, to specific people, no.

Thanks, however it was my first order on Woolworth, the same thing happened when I tried to order from Littlewoods as well. ( I has an account, use this deal and was still charged the full price with NO £30 refund)

These '£30 off when you spend £60 or over' deal a complete CON as they say they refund the £30 after they have taken the FULL value of your order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW does that make any sense!!!!!

I used that code to get £30 off a Nintendo DSi for my friend's little boy a few weeks ago and it worked fine. I got charged the full £149 and then had £30 refunded to my card (the refund actually went on my card the day before the charge!). My friend also used the code to buy a DSi for her other son and the same happened with her.

No problems for either of us with that code but we were both genuine new customers so I'd say this one should also work for new customers too.

Quidco tracked on the full £149 too so got £12 cashback on it too (think it was at a higher rate then)!

I tried this last night, it took the £30 off at checkout and said it only charged me thirty something for £60+ stuff, haven't had a e-mail confirmation yet though so wont hold my breath.
#22
Just tried it now, didn't work for me
#23
i get the message:
ZG003 - Sorry, this promotion code cannot be applied to your order.
#24
Mine worked fine, got the stuff delivered today :D The code only works once you have over £60 of stuff in your basket, I think.
