Signed up to a £1 30 day trial of Kids Pass at the end of May. Used it once, then decided it was not worth the yearly fee, so decided to cancel.
Went onto their website and was surprised to find that the only ways to cancel were by phone or by post. Didn't fancy hanging round on the phone for ages being given the hard sell, so decided to post a letter (not recorded stupidly).
lol and behold, I noticed I've been charged £40 this morning, and when I contacted Kids Pass they "never receive" my letter, and have flat out refused to refund me.
Any other members been caught out like this? Did anybody have any luck with a refund?
Looking on the internet, it seems this is par for the course with these cowboys.

Thanks for your support
Honestly i'd just say lesson learned, have a go phoning them up for a refund but they are going to say they never received anything
Send them another letter describing what happened.
It's definitely a case of that. I did ring them and that's exactly what they said. Feel like I've had my pants well and truly pulled down.
X)
I had something similar with Experian years ago I kept emailing and phoning them and they done it in the end. I learned my lesson but I wasn't going to let it go so easily. You can keep trying and escalating it, try twitter if they are on it
