Sure this will drop to at least £35 before release.

If this drops to £35 before release, without discounts. Find this post and I'll buy it for you

I managed to snag this for £37 during the Amazon prime day sale when they offered the £10 off student voucher plus £2 off the preorder. Fingers crossed it's reduced again before launch date!

This is £42 pre-order from Tesco at the moment too, which might be preferable to some due to clubcard points.

Note that the charge at checkout (so now) not dispatch, and refund any price difference by launch, which is kinda crap...

Keep reading rumour snippets here n there that there will be a special limited edition console bundled with this game, if that turns out to be the case and it gets a European release I may finally jump on board the Switch bandwagon.

Worth an unenthusiastic hot from me seeing I'm uneasy about pre-ordering games regardless and feel Nintendo are back to their first party obsession with this platform already but I doubt you'll be able to pick it up for anything south of 40 quid before next year so £42 now is rather decent I suppose.

It's already reduced to £46.99 which means you should have it for £34.99 at the moment.

Why is this marked as expired? It says still taking pre-orders for October?

31598441-gB2uC.jpgSo is mine but it's not actually for £1.59 as that's just the remainder to pay after remaining balance from a gift card - I do have 2 orders for Mario Odyssey for £34.99 at the moment tho.

Yup this is exactly what I'm doing. I'm in two minds whether to get the Splatoon 2 pro pad now before they are hard to get and sky rocket in price or wait and see ifnthey do a mrio odyssey pro controller

What are Smyths like for cancelling preorders? Easy to do without contacting customer service

I can't wait to play this, Mario can wear a sombrero! 10/10. Highest rated game of all time.
    It should be £50 minimum.

I'm in the same boat. I would like another pro controller for my friend to use but I currently don't own Splatoon and won't until people I know actually buy a Switch. The regular controller is boring looking and Mario and Pokken is around the corner and who knows what will happen

Is the pro controller as comfortable as an xbox or ps pad, I went into town today but GAME wouldn't let me try one to hold.

l think it would depend on the size of your hands as to whether or not it would be your preference but it is a good controller no matter hand size. Before purchasing I worried it would be slightly big as I find the Xbox controller a little big for my hands however for me personally the Switch Pro controller is the most comfy controller available. A sweet spot between PS4 and Xbox size. As said though my only complaint is the plain black version looks a little boring. (edited)

Absolute bull, there's more chance of a treble consisting of Trump not sacking anyone for 24 hours, the pope joining the ABOD and Netanyahu joining Hamas coming off than what there is of this dropping to 35 quid without any promo incentives anywhere this side of 2018!

Must admit I have also been toying with the idea of getting that controller, even though I've not even made my mind up on whether I'm going to get a Switch or not yet

Only 4 months until December now, am starting to think about what Switch games to buy and what console bundle to buy.

So does anyone know anything about bundles for Christmas that are coming out? If we don't know anything, what do you reckon is a sure fire bet for a console/game(s) bundle? Mario Odyssey? MK8D? Zelda? Cars3?
