Microwave with Stainless Steel interior

Hi All!

I'm on the look out for a new standalone microwave oven, preferably black in colour with a stainless steel interior/lining.

I'm finding it hard to find a website that has "interior" as one of their categories (to narrow down the search).

I would be grateful if anyone could suggest an appropriate website or indeed a model which fits my criterior.

Many thanks!

Put a fork in your microwave, let us know how it works out for you.

That would be as stupid as your comment!

Combination ovens will have a stainless steel interior. Ours is panasonic and it has a metallic interior.

Mine is SS interior. Got it from Currys. No rust unlike the powder coated white interiors on chew ones.

any flat metal sheet—the thicker the better - can be used safely in the microwave because they act just like the flat metal walls: they reflect microwaves.
the problem is weight, cost, and quality (eg any potential damage to the surface of the metal can cause sparks)

DeLonghi does metal microwaves (mine looks kind of metallic inside but not sure if its just a paint) (edited)

I just haven't seen any, I think my grandma had one in the 80s that was ceramic but could be wrong. I paid £100 for a large combi microwave oven, is the price difference that much ?

Must just be by luck then, coz every microwave that I've purchased has a coated interior?

not at all,we had a quick look around currys last week as ours has rusted and we wanted to avoid it by buying a SS one but not pay a lot and failed miserably as the majority seemed to have a ceramic coating interior, they seemed to be common(and reasonably priced) at one time but obviously costs have spiralled
